I thought that if volcanic ash can be inserted onto this hidey-hole on the board that I would say that I have become "Part of the Machine", and am standing for the Lib Dems in the Huntingdon East District Council elections.
I advocate piped Tull music throughout public buildings in Huntingdon - if only.
Anyway, I shall not turn this into a party political broadcast, other than to say that the weather man says "Something's on the move"
All the best

Ste I wish you the very best of good fortune Aqualung55. If you were standing for office down here in Kernow you'd get my vote just on the Tull connection alone. Let us know how you get on and when you finally get to be PM, remember your stay in high office must be Tull themed all the way.

There's a little ditty with a political theme you could play around the streets to make sure of Tull support, it is of course "Commons Brawl"

A mate of mine set up a Facebook page for me, supporting my local campaign, and we have been putting a "Song for Change" up - from YouTube - each day.
I would welcome any thoughts on a Tull tune, bearing in mind it shouldn't be TOO obscure as to confuse the unconverted ;-)
I am currently thinking With You There to Help Me will be the one

Good luck ;D

To me the obvious choice is the developing masterpiece A Change of Horses, quality recordings of which are afoot, I would mark the one with the Ian band in LA as the penultimate to this date, on You Tube and probably here. Love the way he enunciates "unholy Babylon" communicates to me in a way no amount of usually self righteous reggae ever could. And after all it is a change of horses, as it were, that u seek right? Time to chart new courses and all like dat.

On title alone, a pol could do worse than 'man of principle'...in fact, it is rather obscure...and in content rather too religiously pre-occupied, what with guys toting crosses up and down this hill and that
