My level of Tull disillusionment had reached the point where I didn't care whether I saw them again or not but when I found out they were playing my hometown for the first time since 1970 and that there were just 10 tickets left, I had to act quickly. And I'm bloody glad I did! They seemed more fresh and vibrant than they have for some time, the new guys appeared capable and enthusiastic and the setlist with a lot of stuff I hadn't seen them play before, added to that sense of revitalisation - even IA's voice sounded youthful, occasionally at least! I have to take exception with a couple of things you, Col, said, though. Firstly, there was a special guest. Ian announced it. It was Doane Perry! Also, we're spelt with an 'e' - Folk estone! - sort yourself out, mate The setlist was spot on, perhaps just mentioning that With You There... contained the Kelpie instrumental and Dharma had bits of Counting Chickens from Stage Left incorporated. Got a few snaps but, unfortunately, nothing worthy of posting. Cheers, Jioffe.

When I saw the tour announced, I really had decided that I wouldn't be attending this time (as last) and it was only the location that swayed me, so no, I didn't get tickets for London As for the pics, I'm not being modest. They really are bad, even with tweaking. The LCH is not a big venue but we were just about as far from the stage as possible, plus I had a pillar to contend with. With the light from the stage and the crappiness of the flash from that distance, all the pics look like they were taken during a ticker-tape parade! Oh well, if you insist. This is by far the best I've been able to generate: Cheers, Jioffe.

Hello mate, All is better than the quack seems to think it should be! And yourself? Back to domestic bliss yet? I sent you an e-card on your birthday. Did you get it or have you changed your email? Cheers, Jioffe.

I'm OK and yes things are a little more settled now that we have a kitchen as well as about 60% of the house done. I got the card, thank you, and I did reply mailed you back just after I found it...have to admit it was a few days after the B-Day as I haven't checked that e-mail address for sometime. Check your box [ooo-er!] you should have a reply lurking in there. Glad to hear that you have the better of the quack - keep it up....[Ooooo-er!]

Nothing in either of my inboxes from you and I should have got a mail from e-cards telling me it had been picked up. Go figure! As for the quack, I think, metaphorically at least, she's having the last laugh! Cheers, Jeff.

Hi Jeff,
Did reply, I've just tried sending it again to the couple of addresses I had. Hopefully it should sneak in past the firewall now.
