That was great! That was one U.S. Tour I was sad I missed. I never really heard any tour details that year as they didn't come near my city. But the U.S. tours also included Teacher, Acres Wild and the afforementioned, Whistler.
OK, here's my rant. Having to listen to all the crowd noise, people talking, whistling, whooping and hollering! I'm glad audiences are enthusiastic of the music but I paid to watch and listen to the band, not hear you sing along, bang the chair, blurt out,"We love you, so and so.." and the ever annoying, "woooooooo!!!"
Tull fans are , but for the most part respectul , i.e. old and invalid, but a Genesis show was ruined for me last year because of the same thing. No way did I want to stand up for an entire 2 and half hour show, escecially after forking over $200.00 dollars for a seat.
I guess I'm just an old fogey!
