Worth noting Col that the sound on these is really good, probably the most engaging version of America I have yet heard, and Ian's voice, while 60, is still quite expressive.

He also dedicated 'Birnam Wood To Dunsinane' to David Rees, who was ill in hospital (another source says the dedication was because Rees had heavily criticised the song in a review).

Jethro Tull live audio 2007-10-12 Kansas City Jethro Tull live audio at Kansas City Uptown Theatre October 12, 2007 They perform two unreleased songs (Donkey And The Drum, Birnam Wood To Dunsinane) supposedly on the next Jethro Tull album (which never happened), and they were dropped from the setlist in 2008. They played Velvet Green, one of my favourite songs from Song From The Wood, not played since 1977, but they soon dropped this from their setlist. They played King Henry's Madrigal from the Stormwatch tour not played since 1980. They perform a Tull arrangement of America, which was arranged by Keith Emerson when he was with The Nice (and of course Emerson, Lake and Palmer) based on the Leonard Bernstein song from West Side Story.
