Kate Bush has gone to number one in the singles chart after her brilliant song has appeared in "Stranger Things"......I've not watched that, but I love the song. I bought the Hounds of Love album back in 1985, and think it's brilliant that another generation will hear her music! I'm so glad that the song was chosen......it could've been some crappy tune couldn't it Well done Kate

To be featured in any successful TV series/ movie is a great boost for any song . I always thought that if "Broadsword" had featured in something like "Lord of the Rings" (perhaps during the reforged Sword scene?) , then renewed interest in Tull would have gone through the roof. I'm surprised given the storytelling nature of many Tull songs, that it never happened. Sure we have had background clips playing in the background of the occasional "second division" production, but never right place, right time, up front in a blockbuster. Perhaps Tom Cruise isn't a fan.
As for Kate, she was always a bit too quirky for my taste, but her style is original and pretty timeless, so its not too much of a surprise that she is being appreciated by a whole new generation.

Totally agree on your Lord of the Rings thing......it should've happened. Maybe Peter Jackson wasn't a fan either.
Some of Kate's music is not for me either, I never liked Wuthering Heights, for instance, too screechy, but many of her songs are amazing.
