I was looking through some stuff I have and without even trying, was surprised how much Tull misinformation is out there. With the forthcoming "A" box I was reading once again about the "Slipstream" DVD . I've just read more than one article that says the live section was filmed at Hammersmith Odeon ( It was Los Angeles of course, Tull didn't play Hammersmith on the "A" tour). I have a live audio show from the U.S.A.in 1982. On the sleeve it tells me "this was the debut of the 17 year old Alexander Lancelot Barre on guitar" . Alex doesn't exist of course, it was just stage banter from Ian when introducing Martin . He even added , "hes even got the same haircut as his dad!" Another live show taken from a Radio broadcast from Hamburg in 82 of the Broadsword tour has at least three tracks in the middle of it from the "A" tour, giving the impression that Tull played things like "Protect and Survive" and "Crossfire" on the "Broadsword" tour which they didn't. I have a recording from Hammersmith 84 (which I was lucky enough to be at) it has a version of "Dharma for One" in the middle of it which wasnt played on that tour. Maybe these things don't matter, is it just me?

The Tale of Martin 'Sir Lancelot' Barre the Brave I have that live CD too, with some songs actually stolen from Living in the past, and others too who pretend to offer a single complete concert while they collect stuff from older records and maybe add a little bootleg stuff... Such are unofficial bootleg records, so since they are fooling the law, so to say, there is no surprise if they also fool the buyers
