At public events, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau likes to wear 'blackface', to mock people of South Asian and African descent. Our federal election is next month and many members of his political party (Liberals) are shrugging-off his bigoted behaviour but I think this is beneath the dignity of someone holding the highest office in the country.

Try tell American citizens about how it feels to be embarrassed by a leader. At least Trudeau's mom may have done it with Mick Jagger !!! Wait...maybe Mick is his DAD !!

His real dad could also be the late Cuban dictator Fidel Castro, who was a good friend of Justin's father(?) and former prime minister, Pierre. Well, maybe, not such a good friend . Fidel, young Justin, and Margaret Trudeau.

You think that YOU have an embarrassing Prime Minister? Have you seen what the UK has to put up with at the moment? Just as you think you have the worst PM ever another one comes along to blow a hole in that statement.

"And the brainwashing government lackeys would have us say It's under control and we'll soon be on our way..." -IA (Wond'ring Aloud, Again) I've often wondered exactly what IA's politics are and whether he would make a good politician. With the former I would guess a liberal democrat and with the latter I would suspect he would get extremely bored and hacked off.

Usually, the more wealthy a person becomes, the more they lean to the right. I read that all the members of Tull considered moving to Switzerland at one point because the taxation rate was so high in the UK. On the other hand, all the rich Hollywood celeb-types are liberals.
In "Working John, Working Joe", IA writes about the virtues of being in a union, but I think he is being sarcastic.

From www.loudersound.com/features/jethro-tull-s-ian-anderson-on-politics-god-and-ritchie-blackmore-s-clothing back in 2016, however I would think things might be a little different today perhaps ? Did the old rebel in you have difficulty accepting an MBE?My only problem was that I was very much opposed to some of the policies of Tony Blair during his regime, and my award was decided under a Blair government. I came very close to saying I couldn’t accept it. I’d like to think that it was awarded for my efforts in having musicians’ copyright recognised, rather than for making rather too much money out of playing the flute for many years. Where do you stand politically? That’s a difficult one. I know more Labour people, but in past years the Conservatives have had my grudging support.
