Time to form a posse and be sure the doctors are treating our man right. Nothing like a few guns and lawyers in the mix to insure best practices.

Graham rang me from his hospital bed this morning and I have to say it was great to hear his voice again
He's in Plymouth hospital and is hoping to get back home next week if things go to plan. He said he's a bit fed up as you can imagine but he sounds OK.
He has asked me to pass on his thanks to you all for your messages of support and for thinking of him.

Riding in the TULL Mobile I heard these words... Maddogfagin rise again, we won't cross you out... for we do love you like a son, of that there's no doubt ! Listen : Cause we need you here for our good cheer And we need you for the glory, for the story, for the total satisfaction of telling you how absolutely amazing you really are

Just as I thought I was better, the sepsis bug stuck its head over the battlements again and I get another dose of it. Pesky little blighter this sepsis so off I went to hospital again. At least I got to do some physio while I was there and book myself in for a minor op later in the year.
Thanks to all who sent there best wishes and birthday wishes to all those who I missed.
This really is a kind and understandng place to be a member of.

As you may have noticed, Graham AKA maddogfagin hasn't posted for the last couple of days and I've had a call from him this morning to say, he's had a little tumble at home so he's being assessed in hospital at the moment. He sounds cheerful and hoping to be home very soon. I'll let you all know how he's doing when I hear from him next but in the meantime, I'm sure you'll all join me in wishing him a speedy recovery.

I'm afraid I have some dreadful news to tell you all. Graham's wife has just rang to say that Graham sadly died yesterday in hospital.
The last time I talked to Graham he wasn't well but still hoped to be back posting here on The Forum very soon.
Graham has been the mainstay here and, as well as you all, I will miss him dearly and send my condolences to his wife Eileen.
Graham AKA maddogfagin I raise a glass and say cheerio my dear friend

I'm absolutely shocked and gutted to hear this terrible news. Only knew MD through this forum but he was still a friend to me I felt. Such a knowledgeable chap on our era of music and of course Jethro Tull, he will be so missed on here, thoughts are with his family at this very sad time. Thanks MD Graham for the forum.

Oh my word! I'm afraid I've not been around as I've also had a spell in hospital and am now minus a gallbladder and some gallstones - but am very sorry to read this news about Graham/Maddogfagin. He was such a larger than life character on these forums and even a newbie such as I will miss him, but the tune ends too soon for us all xx

When Col, the JT Forum founder, decided to leave he wanted to pass the reins over to either myself or Graham.
Graham and I joined the Forum at the same time - ten days apart to be precise. It’s hard to believe that it was nearly fifteen years ago. It seems like yesterday when we were having backroom chats about how it would continue. It was, though, a wonderful serendipity that Graham decided to pop in and join when he did. Here was an expert. Someone who first saw the band at the Star Hotel Blues Club, Croydon in 1968 and who’s love, knowledge and dedication started that evening. There was never any doubt - nor a better person,to become Admin of the Forum.
I’m so shocked to hear the dreadful news today and I want to pass my sincere condolences to Graham's family and friends.
