Graham (maddogfagin) was taken ill at home earlier this week.
I've been in touch with his wife and she tells me Graham may be in hospital for about 3 weeks.
My fellow moderators and I will keep you all informed of Graham's progress as and when we get any more news.
I'm sure you'll all join me in wishing Graham a speedy recovery. "Another tea-time, another day older."

My prayers also dispatched. We miss you already. You are the heft and glue of our clubhouse, often reminding us that there is no such thing as a 'slow day' in Tull news. There is always something new, interesting and IMPORTANT to discuss. Archival recordings, daily life scenes and realities that connect us back to Tull lyrics and the full time joy of Tull fanhood. We will stoke the flame while you are restored to health...hopefully a quick, efficient, minimum discomfort process. You KNOW we are with you.

Perfectly written Bernie and you've certainly shown us just how much Graham contributes to this forum with his vast knowledge of Jethro Tull. So hurry up and get well soon Graham, you're a huge miss.

I've spoken to Graham's wife this morning and I'm pleased to report that Graham continues to improve. He's up and about but still expects to be in hospital for another week or so.
I've passed on our regards from everyone here at The Jethro Tull Forum.

We should be able to coordinate a quick group pray for our friend and leader Graham...How about noon on Monday Greenwich Mean Time ( I never understood why it's mean?) Everyone ask Google or Siri or Alexa or your kids what time that will be where you live and send a Tull lyric to the big concert promoter in the sky requesting fast and full healing for Graham. So for me GMT-9 Pacific Daylight Saving Time...Oh No...3:00AM Monday morning. I'll do it, I swear....just set alarm on phone.

Greenwich Mean Time or GMT is the clock time at the Royal Observatory in Greenwich, London. It is the same all year round and is not affected by Summer Time or Daylight Saving Time. LINK When the sun is at its highest point exactly above the Prime Meridian, it is 1200 noon at Greenwich.
Whatever time it is, I'll be praying for Graham to return to the place he gets the most joy.

Many thanks to you all for the kind wishes and get well messages. It's been a long journey to recovery but some excellent nursing from both doctors, nurses, ancillary staff and the young lady who brought in the tea trolley every day have seen me over the worst. I'm still required to take loads of medication and do physio but the stair lift should be installed next week - God I feel old.
In a nutshell, I had to have an ECG which had a abnormality in the reading so off to hospital I went only to be told that a further ECG was perfectly normal. So back I went to our local village hospital for some physiotherapy only to go down with urosepsis ( a rather nasty bladder infection ) so back to the main hospital I went where I was treated. I had a catheter installed so I could pee properly but after a week or so it seemed to clear up only to have it re-occur a few days later. All seems OK now but I'm still weak and it will take me some time to fully recover.
Anyway, I did get one patient on my ward to play LITP for me from his ipod player which reverberated down the ward and I had the dubious pleasure (?) of an Ian Anderson recommended prostate examination. I did ask the doctor where my chocolates and flowers were but the bu99er didn't bring them so the offer of marriage is OFF.
So all being well I hope to get better slowly - the infection seems to be caused by stones in my bladder which may be cured with my medication, if not it may need an operation.
I'll should be back up and running here in a few days, until then there are pages of emails to get through

Good to hear mostly good news on eve of Tull season in California. Future prayers for your restored health and comfort will be hastily muttered during Passion Play snippets performed a day after tomorrow, next Wednesday and next Sunday. If APP has been replaced by Serenade for a Cuckoo, however, prayers for your health will be pre-empted by my self pity.

Apologies to all American and Canadian ticket holders if Ian or one of his helpers monitors our website and it results in change of APP to Cuckoo to spite me.
