There's a great charity called Playlist For Life set up by Sally Magnusson and others. It's a brilliant idea for anyone to set up a playlist of their favourite music to listen too at present or to have for the future if they are unfortunate to ever suffer any mind degenerative disease. Music has the ability to; "Bring back feelings, memories and sometimes even abilities thought lost Reduce the use of heavy drugs and restraints Manage mood and emotions Strength relationships, reconnect families and support new connections." I thought that as we're still in the season of 'long winter's fall' that we could borrow a bit from the idea and set up our own individual Playlist for life - if you haven't already! There could be two lists - one Tull and one other. There could be one list - all Tull. It's up to you. You can take your time with this - the nights are still long. i63.images obliterated by tinypic/28gqyci.jpg[/IMG]

I like this idea, a lot! I'm not sure how I missed this posting, but, I have often thought about what songs would make people think of me. I suppose, there is no way of truly knowing as to who and where and why I would emerge as an image in someone's head. I do have a letter in my locker at work for my co-workers, loved-ones, and family should I pay the ultimate sacrifice in the performance of my duties. So, here goes. I'll try to burn a disc and put it in my locker should God call me unexpectedly.
Steven's Chronicle (non-Tull disc)
1. Shooting Star - Bob Dylan 2. On Every Street - D.S. 3. Avalon of the Heart - Van 4. Waterloo Sunset - Kinks (the version Ray Davies does with Jackson Browne) 5. Piper to the End - Mark Knopfler 6. Time Waits for No One - Stones 7. Sole Survivor - Asia 8. Heaven Laughs - The Hooters 9. Heaven Can Wait - Meat Loaf 10. Tra Te e il Mare - Laura Pausini 11. E Penso a Te - Lucio Battisti 12. If I Was - Midge Ure 13. Brigadoon (Finale) - Brigadoon Cast 14. Connie Dover - The Wishing Well 15. Siuil Ruin - Connie Dover 16. Magnificat cum Alleluia - Noirin Ni Riain 17. The Song of Wandering Aengus - poem by W.B. Yeats (read by Cyril Cusack) 18. I'll Never Find Another You - The Seekers 19. Child of the Moon - Stones 20. Someday, Little Children - Susan and the kids (Sesame Street) 21. The ending to the movie K-Pax (final 3:30) 22. Das Rheingold - Wagner 23. Annabel Lee - poem by Poe (Read by Christopher Lee)

Numbers 3 and 6 are underrated masterpieces in my book.
