Some '10cc' for me this evening. I'm Mandy Fly Me! Is that one 10cc album cover incorporating two photos of two 10cc album covers combined? I'm trying to figure out what is going on in the picture. I love the rotary phones and all, giving away the time period.

I know that it's time for a cool change
Well, I was born in the sign of water
And it's there that I feel my best..."

Whatever else is happening in the picture, it is weird that Jackie Kennedy drove up in a red sports car with not Ari Onassis nor John Kennedy.

I love the rotary phones and all, giving away the time period. It is a pretty cool cover, but it is 'one' cover. It has a gatefold sleeve with a 'party' (including the band members) on the inside. Designed by Storm Thorgeson (Hipgnosis). To be honest, I haven't got a clue what is going on though! I love those 1976 fashions though. Great album too!

It's very humorous how everyone is talking on the telephone in public, something that seems to be a bit of an epidemic, these days.

Be Bop Deluxe - 'Drastic Plastic'. A superb album from 1978. I love Bill Nelson.

The "Lebowski" thing is just from a funny movie and an attempt by me to create levity. Nothing more.

The "Lebowski" thing is just from a funny movie and an attempt by me to create levity. Nothing more. I love that!!! I was beginning to think that no one heard of the movie (or liked it for that matter). It is an acquired taste at that and it's chock full of "F" words. I used to watch the movie a lot, then when my daughter his two years old I couldn't have it on around her. On a day when the world makes me sad, that movie just takes me away to a funnier place.

Yes... We are mostly a "Family of Tull," but when it comes to the idea of a family being a good thing... Well... sometimes it just isn't s so... Most of my own famely I just don't like... I haven't seen my older brother for years... Why should I? He's never been nice to me... What's up with Lebowski? I don't understand the Lebowski thing... I think that it's a good thing to have an open conversation about a statement like the one about Jim being a fake... That will not go unanswered... but now we have talked about it, and that's it... Everything is okay again... Ian is going to die, but we have the music... He will always be a part of our lives... I like most of the Tull fans that I have meet, but I have also meet some nasty bastards... I had nothing in common with them... and I never want to hear from them again... It's a little bit like my brother... They can thank themselves for that... There behavior was sickening... all the way, and all the time... Theres a big difference if a person is like that all of the time, and if that person has it as an ideologi... I guess that everybody are like that once in a while, but that's only human... If it is an integrated part of that particular person... he, or she will not be liked by many people... It's really sad... There actions don't provide a real opportunity for real and lasting friendship... They may have friends, but they are mostly like themselves... Sad for them... There may be a lot of suspicion, when it comes to other peoples motives, and sometimes they are right, but if it's something that has captured this persons thinking all of the time, it creates a real problem... For themselves and others... They may not like stupid people, and are condescending towards people that they find to be stupid... Now you're judgmental... A judge... Not good for anyone... Or jealousy when they meet someone that can do something that they can't do... The list goes on and on and on... The "Lebowski" thing is just from a funny movie and an attempt by me to create levity. Nothing more. Okay humor. I like to know what people are writing to me about. I will investigate every word, but just in order to understand it fully... If I misunderstand what I'm reading, I may end up criticizing my own interpretation of what I have read, and that is stupid... So that's why I asked you about the Lebowski statement... Now I know that it's some kind of humor... but I still don't know what it's about? We have now ended up in a guessing game... I could stop asking you, because it's getting a little awkward... and though curiosity killed the cat, I will very much like to hear a more comprehensive explanation about Lebowski... and why it is so funny?

I think it was that both are Lebowski's in the movie and both are Tull family members on this forum.

There's nothing like a spot of Rudyard Kipling to raise the tone of the Forum on a Sunday afternoon. You know, it Mad Dog! As sung by Jim Croce, who grew up and went to high school in Upper Darby, Pa. (near the famous Tower Theater) where I saw Tull during the Knave tour. Probably the best sounding concert I remember. Check out the Ballad of Gunga Dinn by Jim Croce. It does Kipling justice, for sure! When he says, "Aldershot it", that just gives me goosebumps.

'Expect No Mercy' by Nazareth. A great band indeed! I'm loving the Viking cover, with, what is that the Sun coming up in the background? Another album I have never heard. It's almost daily on this board that I learn about an album I've never heard before. My rock n roll is certainly getting a revamp!

'Expect No Mercy' by Nazareth. A great band indeed! I absolutely love this band! I have a lot of their records... I'm a big fan! (But Tull is God!) It's something we say in Denmark... If we really like someone, they are God... Poul Kjøller is God... Kim Larsen is God... Peter A.G is God... etc, etc, etc... Sorry God... It's not personal...

Nazareth was my first love regarding music... I didn't know that much about music... I didn't even know anything about Jethro Tull... I eventually driftet into David Bowie, The Sex Pistols, The Clash, Talking Heads, Igy Pop, and Nina Hagen, and Jethro Tull... and forgot about Nazareth, but I listen a lot to it now... Great band!!

Nazareth have a new album out 'Surviving The Law' on 15th April. Their second with Carl Sentance as lead singer. I think Pete Agnew is the only original member left.
