There aren't many genres of music that Tull hasn't been associated with or influenced by over the years.
Puirt à beul (mouth music) is a traditional form of song native to Scotland, Ireland, and Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia.
It was used in the chorus in the beautiful song Coronach.
I'm listening to the wonderful Rhiannon Giddens - award winning, American musician singing a trad gaelic puirt a beu song.
“Nobody, but nobody, gets three standing ovations in Scotland”. Well, Rhiannon Giddens did just that, for a one-off night playing with an orchestra created just for the occasion at Celtic Connections."

Interesting you should mention Rhiannon Giddens. I was lucky enough to work in the States in Savannah, Georgia in 2008/2009. There is a nice river waterfront there with all sorts of bars, restaurants, cafes, art shops, etc. When I first got to Savannah, I went in a shop there where the owner picked up on my Scots accent and started talking to me. He mentioned that he was involved in the local folk club and said they had a great group soon on called the Carolina Chocolate Drops. He recommended I come along. I intended to go but then forgot what night it was on and missed it. Regretted it ever since (Rhiannon Giddens was the singer in the band). A year or so back she was in concert at the Sage in Gateshead and I booked tickets to go along. We had a family problem and I missed seeing her again then too. Hopefully one day in the not too distant future I will get another opportunity, www.youtube.com/watch?v=FVIaiADsyYo

I got tickets to see Yusuf/Cat Stevens at Kelvingrove Park and I was looking forward to Celtic Connection in January. The only consolation is that Celtic Connections is online so it's free, and reaching a wider audience. www.celticconnections.com/

During this holiday season I am listening to (the spiritual side)
The Soundtrack of Ben Hur and King Of Kings composed and conducted by Miklos Rozsa with the MGM Symphony Orchestra and Chorus.
And from the Ho Ho Ho side, the audio to the TV specials
Charlie Brown Christmas How The Grinch Stole Christmas Mr. Magoo`s Christmas Carol Frosty The Snowman Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer
Something about Burl Ives singing "Have A Holly Jolly Christmas" that gets you into the spirit.
And of course, the original "Christmas Song" by Jethro tull
