I'm a moderate Tull fan but interested in exploring albums across a whole range of artists. I'm currently working on a Tull Blog post and have reached the end of War Child and am about to tackle Minstrel In The Gallery. Quite a way to go, but hopefully I can get some points of clarification as I go along from other members. Looking forward to discussions!

Feeling like I'm among friends. I mentioned my hobby of listening to all the albums of an artist in sequence and blogging my thoughts. I'm currently on Tull and will post the reviews so far on the relevant album pages. A word of warning, I can be a bit flippant at times but be assured that I have real affection for every band I try (well, Duran Duran might be stretching the point). Full blog site is here, no JT post yet, I have to get to the end first: andysrockodysseys.blogspot.co.uk/ Enjoy!

When we're all done with Tull I'll check out your blog. I love delving and dissecting and talking(!) about all things Tull. Don't know if you know Andy but Ian hates it - it freaks him out when Tull fans delve and dissect.

Oh I shall A couple of personal Tull observations - This Was is where I really started MY Tull odyssey and although not the greatest IA composition My Sunday Feeling as track #1 gets me every time. And it's often overlooked in Tull circles that the main reason that audiences ventured out to see the band in '68 in the first place was the guitar playing reputation of Mick Abrahams - Ian Anderson, Clive Bunker and Glenn Cornick's playing notwithstanding. No wonder the Chrysalis powers that be wanted MA as the front man - now that would have changed history. And as for The Hare . . . - treat as a piece of British whimsy designed to raise a smile as only we Brits can

Full Tull post is now done and can be found here.Who next is my question now. I haven't done the Stones yet and I reckon they might be interesting, but it's another big project and I like to intersperse with something I can do quickly. Maybe some Radiohead or Talking Heads. Something with 'head' in the name anyway.

Forum approved: Make sure you comment on the nice welcome by Tull & Yes fans... Full Tull post is now done and can be found here.Who next is my question now. But against the odds this ranks as ‘fairly outstanding’ on the Rock Odyssey scale. With the new album you must do the Stones ASAP.
