Hello everyone! Very unfortunately, I missed the concert "Rock Opera" yesterday evening in Bologna, for business reasons, but I'm SURE, to attend "Rock Opera" tomorrow night in Bergamo. I'm really curious to see what kind of concert can be !

Hello everyone! The concert last night, live up to expectations. In the sense that as the other to whom I had witnessed the beginning of the year, the level and 'was very high. Ian, has found an ingenious solution alongside the new singer (and that is extremely capable ). That 's the way he preserves his voice, but intervenes in the right moment as the master and that he is . The thing that impresses about the singer, is that she "fits perfectly" in the songs. It seems to be part of that era. This is difficult to explain. Even the vocals from Goodyer and O 'Donnell are spectacular, at least. Movies and background images show the great work done by James Anderson. The version of Wiches Promises performed in duo Ian and singer, with that shrill voice and strong, and 'indescribable , in its beauty Living in the Past gave us a jump on the chair, performed slightly "rock", so as My God and Cheap Day Return. It was a concert so different from the usual that we were all impressed. Bassist replacing Goodyer plays really good the role, of course, also applies to the rest of the band, without exception! Returning to the voice of Ian, at least yesterday really no problem. I will try to post some pictures soon .

Lucky. Will the opera EVER come to my area? My advice is , don't miss to see this show , Steelmonkey , if it comes in your zone. Years ago , i was so surprised attending TaaB 2 and Homo Erraticus Tour , that i have seen several times in differents venues , just because of the difference between that kind of show and the usual JT / IA concerts . But believe me , Rock Opera is something special .

A thing i must say is that always a JT / IA show has given me emotions , called memories , but this kind ofconcert is really more than this , unforgettable . I could attend to one in the beginning of this year in GB , but i complayn i missed the one in Bologna last Sunday . I look forward to discover wether the Band will be performing again in my Country or in GB which would be easy for me too. A friend took some good pic during the show , i know he is going to send them to me .I ' ve sent some to Jim during the concert , va F Book .

There, that's better...Got my special ed* CD from One Amazing Duck and have started the process of learning the new songs. So far, so good...I hear the Tull, I hear the 'next step from some Homo/Brick 2 songs', I'm learning the words, I'm internalizing the riffs. Not the best thing ever, I'm afraid...and nothing, thus far, as impressive as the best of Homo and Brick 2. But good, new TULL songs...and for that I am grateful.
* special edition cuz he made just the new songs for me or special education because I am obviously retarded.

Liking the new(ish) songs more each listen...hearing some echoes of 'Turnpike Inn' and a few other other Homo, Brick2 and earlier song ancestors. Definitely a trickier learning curve than usual...why? Cuz we only have rough, live recordings, because the new songs aren't that impressive or because they are like many new Tull tunes and will take time to digest ?

Hello everyone. I saw the three dates for Christmas concerts. Some of us here plan to go there? I'd be strongly bent, also because it's going to be easy to get tickets that will be available in advance. Some lament the fact that Worcester, Derby and Winchester are not very accessible being far from airports.

Although I have a few big moves before then however one of Ian's Christmas soirees might be a welcome relaxation to look forward too. Trains for me so I will have to see which is the easiest to get to as well.
