Apparently there is no desire to resurrect the chatroom from the Official J-Tull website as the the domain seems to be up for grabs to the highest bidder. www.jethrotullchat.com/

That was the old Tull Board or Forum like this one that Col started, the Live Chat is still there and almost dead, is not linked from anywhere.. That was not a nice place, as there was no one watching the room, no control on it... Same with that old Board. This is a nice place here. Thanks Col....

Thanks TS, Yeah, shame it all went belly up for the want of a moderator or two. I know plenty of regulars on the old official board PM'd the webmaster offering their services. I got the impression it was just set up and forgotten about. Still, like Mr skull said, we try to make it a nice place here.

I would use the recent thread on Florian O. as an example of the contrast between this respectful, civilized, articulate and polite Forum and the other ones where Mr. O. got constant, unwarranted thrashings. I'm sure there is a large gradient of opinions about his playing and justifiable disappointment when a Tull ticket holder walks into a Martin-less gig but the positivity shown on the current thread is heartening. It is a pleasure to steal my employers money while I enjoy this forum between emergencies. ( this is not hyperbole---I work in an E.R.).
