Thats's spoilt my cup of tea and toast this very nice Saturday Morning. Two thing I really dont like - Bungle and Karaoke.
Interesting Fact: I came last in the Phil Collins Karoake competition at The Dirty Duck, Linwell in 2012. Tufty won it.

That's why I keep this video in my favourites - which one are you?

Poor old Bungle....for most of us, literally the first Tull song that had to be compared to the mighty Passion Play. Heard it on the radio after much anticipation for new Tull...and, uh...well, let's say 'Back Door Angels', the second song most of us heard after APP, was welcomed with opener arms.

Here's the thing, when we finally all meet, who gets to be called 'Tufty' ?

Bungle makes me sing along every time! I'm weird like that I guess, you want a sing along that you can't resist or get out of your head... well you asked for it:

Karaoke is really just a bit of fun. I like it because everyone can do it. Nobody have to be the best singer in the world, and it doesn't require a super good voice... Sing, sing, sing, even if the glass is breaking!!

Jack A Lynn:
Cold aeroplanes, slow boats, warm trains remind me of Jack-A-Lynn. Lush hotels and pretty girls won't cheer the misty mood I'm in. Silly, sad, I've never had to write this before, oh, Jack-A-Lynn.
Funny how long nights allow thoughts of Jack-A-Lynn. When phantoms tread around my bed to offer restless dreams they bring. And it's just the time and place to find a sad song to play for Jack-A-Lynn.
Magpies that shriek, old boots that leak call me to Jack-A-Lynn. Coal-black cats in policeman's hats nosing where the mice have been. And the long miaow's beginning now and I'm far, far from home and Jack-A-Lynn. Jack, Jack-A-Lynn Jack, Jack-A-Lynn Jack, Jack-A-Lynn Jack, Jack-A-Lynn

This is one of my favorite movies. Buster Keaton! Another great American! I watch it once in a while... Mostly I turn the volume down, when it comes to the movie, while simultaneously listening to some Jethro Tull... So, if you want to try this. Turn the movie volume down, and turn the volume up for the music... The strange thing is, that the movie experience "changes", if you change the music... I'll give you a few options....

Rainbow Blues Through northern lights on back streets I told the coachman, "Just drive me on, It's the same old destination but a different world to sing upon.'' So he threw back his head and he counted. I jumped out about five to nine. And I waved at the stage door-keeper said, "Mister, get me to the stage on time.'' Oh, but the rain wasn't made of water and the snow didn't have a place in the sun so I slipped behind a rainbow and waited till the show had done. I packed my ammunition. Inside the crowd was shouting, "Encore'', But I had a most funny feeling it wasn't me they were shouting for. So when the tall dark lady smiled at me I said, "Oh, baby let us go for a ride.'' And we came upon two drinks or four and popped them oh so neatly inside. Oh, but the rain wasn't made of water and the snow didn't have a place in the sun so we slipped behind a rainbow and lay there until we had done. Let me pack you deep in my suitcase. Oh, there's sure to be room for two or you can drive me to the airplane but don't let me catch those rainbow blues. Glory Row Oh, we'll put your name up in lights, put you down on Glory Row. Would you be the star of ages to light your own way at night? Might be a former beauty queen with your high smile stuck on so tightly. They come and they go down on Glory Row. It's the same old story yes, it the same old show. Well, hello all you gentlemen, I fear I'm a lot like you. We're wearing the same school tie but a different pair of shoes. How did you get to be who you are? Will your children share the blame? Is it really worth the time it takes to carve your name on Glory Row? Down on Glory Row. It's the same old story yes, it the same old show. Rise up all you fine young ladies and take arms for the show. Oh, we'll put your name up inlights, put you down on Glory Row. Would you be the star of ages to light your own way at night? Might be a former beauty queen with your high smile stuck on so tightly. They come and they go down on Glory Row. Old School Song:
From playing fields to killing fields: just one small step of madness. Officer training, uniform, boys together shower together. Rank and file can be just fine but that's not what we're here for. So, sign upon the dotted line, be commissioned, Hell for leather.
How we sang that old school song, from Pirates of Penzance. Foemen bearing steel, we slapped our chests and raised our voices. No mad poets we, or painters twee but young men with a yearning to flex our might for all that's right when face with moral choices.
Wrapped in the old school song, we fly our colours high. Bravo! The old school song! Harsh reality, by and by.
Dad delivered us from the Hun and we reflect his selfless deed on this desert plain of conflict where special forces, choppers need. Fly-boy coming to collect you, lift you up and then protect you. Be this gung or be this ho, may glorious battle resurrect you.
Wrapped in the old school song, we fly our colours high. Bravo! The old school song! Harsh reality, by and by.
... and a few pirates...

Wootton Bassett Town: Hourglass sands run through my veins like blood draining from a salty wound. Mad Mars forgets the cost of strife, serves no longer, purpose in my life. I lie in sweat, cry others' tears and write a letter to my Mum, My wife, my God unheard, unseen, Who never thinks to intervene.
Oh, what pain and oh, what lie has called to us, from heaven on high? This cruel and harsh sweet punishment for follies acted, leaves us spent. Long road to Baghdad, then Persian hordes? Where will we stop to sheath our swords? IEDs lie patient, sleeping, wake when soldier boots come creeping.
Hourglass sands run through my veins like blood draining from a salty wound. Mad Mars forgets the cost of strife, serves no longer, purpose in my life. Down this dusty scorched wind-blast track, eyes facing forward, ne'er look back. As rain comes down on Wootton Bassett Town, black hearses crawl and church bells sound. Bikers, burghers line the kerbs; a politician, a Highness Royal. Chance shoppers, tradesmen, stiffly stand and shed their tears for the military man

No not him Hey Equus tell us the gossip - was it true? Unfortunately I don't know anything about the Black Rabbi... but Michelle Obama seems to be saying: "Don't touch him bitch!!" ...or: "What are you doing... Remember Monica Lewinsky?"

I think later pictures that same day show she was pissed and he was in the doghouse. President Obama was properly somber for the rest of that event IIRC.
