The sun is shining, the holidays are here and it's time for The Forum's Summer Competition courtesy of those good folks at The Tullianos. First prize is a copy of Martin Barre's double cd which he released last year, signed by the man himself. We'll also throw in a Tullianos badge which the winner will wear with pride.
Second prize is a dvd of the 2011 Tullianos Convention with Ian Anderson.
To participate, answer the two questions below and post them as a PM to myself along with your email address. The two winning entries will be drawn out of one of my Tull baseball hats by my better half on 16 August and I'll notify the winners by email to arrange delivery.
Question 1: Who is the artist who painted the artwork for the cover of the Aqualung album.
Question 2: Which Ian Anderson song starts with the line "Shake a leg, it's the big rush"
Apart from myself, Remy (whose idea this competition was) and the other moderators of the Forum, all members are eligible to participate.
Once again, thanks to everybody at The Tullianos

Thanks again to everyone at The Jethro Tull Forum, this is only a very small way to thank of you for allowing us to continue enjoying Tull, you've done for us much more than some others... in much less time.

First things first - 28 Forum members entered our Summer Contest and the answers were:
Burton Silverman was the artist who painted the artwork for the cover of the Aqualung album.
and the song that starts with the line "Shake a leg, it's the big rush" is Taxi Grab from TOTRnRTYTD
The winner, drawn out of one of my Tull baseball hats by Mrs MD, was Pantagruel and he wins the signed copy of Martin Barre's self titled double album issued last year.
Second prize of the Tullianos DVD from their convention of 2011 was won by Jackinthegreen.
Congratulations to both members and once again I must thank Remy and all those folks involved with this years Tullianos Convention for providing the prizes.
Once the two winners PM or email me their contact addresses I will endeavour to get to our local post office early next week and despatch them.

The prizes were despatched yesterday via The Royal Mail. Please expect delivery in a couple of years a week or so, depending on rough seas, high winds, the wrong type of leaves on the line (UK rail joke) and other vagaries of the postal system.

Got it today Graham, thank you. I had (luckily) the day off work and so was in when the postman called this afternoon. I watched it all already..... Most enjoyable afternoon..... Highlight for me was the Florian acoustic solo, the spanish guitar piece, brilliant.. His electric solo wasn't too shabby either.. Magic stuff. I hadn't realised it was an outdoor gig, and that such a lot of people attended....looks like a real fun event... Thanks again for the DVD guys......
