jackinthegreen: Cheers MD, I can only see the link from the "Home" page, but disappears when looking at threads etc, so find if I open it up in a new window it then plays constantly

jackinthegreen: Did anyone on the forum see Tull at the De Montfort Hall in Leicester in September.....

smint100: Good Lord, why did no one tell me about the radio.net! I've spent a joyful afternoon in the garden watching the strawberries ripen - I mean, editing a book - and listening to unadulterated Tull. Heaven!

ash: Is anyone aware of a recent statement from Ian saying he doesn't have COPD and it's only asthma? Just asking
Jun 1, 2022 9:21:29 GMT

ash: One can be mistaken for the other because of similar symptoms but COPD is the nasty one! I'm talking an updated statement from Ian early this year.

marshall: Hello, I was at the concert at De Montfort Hall in September along with a number of other shows. I try to get to as many as possible in the UK.

jackinthegreen: Thank-you marshall
I travelled down from Scotland for the Marillion Weekend there, great venue isn't it! It was standing downstairs, I guess the Tull gig was all seated....did they sell out? Please join in on the forum threads! Cheers

marshall: I live in Cumbria and I had booked for the Glasgow show which was,of course, cancelled.

marshall: No need to thank me by the way. I was a member of this Forum some year's ago but I forgot my log in details. I will do my best to contribute. I have been a Full can since the early singles and I have some fabulous memories as well as tales to tell.
Jun 23, 2022 12:43:14 GMT
jackinthegreen: In that case welcome back marshall. I am a Full can too....if that's rhyming slang for Tull fan
Jun 24, 2022 20:23:29 GMT

steelmonkey: My new. secret, self identity: Full Can. California Cockney rhyming slang? Why not?
Jun 27, 2022 1:50:44 GMT
ash: "California Cockney rhyming slang? Why not?" Many reasons if your family has Cockney routes
Jul 3, 2022 12:04:52 GMT

steelmonkey: People my age learned of it and some of it from 'A Clockwork Orange', way back when.
Jul 4, 2022 2:05:35 GMT
steelmonkey: And I was taught that Tull members and crew called us civilian fans 'Billies' for Billy Bunter = Punter.

ash: My granddad would use Cockney rhyming slang now and then, more so if he was having a Darby. I will let him off seeing as he was born about half a mile from St Mary-le-Bow church.
