I'd agree with all those guesses, throw in 'Nothing is easy', 'New Day yesterday', part of TAAB one and seriously, seriously doubt 'Black Sunday'......maybe TOTRARTYTD or short versions of heavy Horses and/or SFTW. I think Ian chooses a lot of title tracks for the simple reason that he hopes people leave the concert, remember a song or 3 they like...and he wants to spare them looking too long and losing interest.

Have always noticed, on the radio call in shows, how very much more polite he is to such females who call as opposed to the males, many of whom, I can see why he might have a bit of fun with, whereas I don't recall any of the girls to have sounded like lower case imbeciles. However, in this video, while he is perfectly polite to the first few relatively normal looking middle aged guys, he comes a little too close to kissing the ass of the biker looking dude, with freaking KISS patches on his jean jacket, whereas I think he merits the same disinterested response as the first few. Man I am wasting too much time. Should not have even responded. I guess the point being I don't like EVERYTHING about IA.

Well tullist, if I had seen only one backstage, I would give the reason, but I must say that the Ian behavior in Catalonia has always been friendly and impartial Do not understand why his behavior at Zaragoza backstage was the one seen in the video, the "motorcyclist" is not in fact is a Madrid concert promoter, has a concert hall called "Sala Jagermeister" and know Anderson of other many times, perhaps that is why, I also wonder why are only tullianos members in backstage, usually in Barcelona backstage room is larger and there are drinks for attendees, musicians mingle with people and chat a while . I am too surprised by this video, but I thought that there are few video of a backstage and for this reason I've uploaded. Never occurred to me to shoot a backstage, I'm not sure that's quite right, in any case it is possible that the Ian behavior is not so friendly

Thanks Remy, that would explain it, Ian already knew, or at least recognized that guy. I am guessing this was something done for the Tullianos in specific, which in itself is quite nice. I can think of several good reasons why he may be somewhat reserved around his fans. Just as long as no one paid 200 dollars extra or something for this high honor. I imagine folks who do that sort of thing, re pay to meet their heros, can well afford it, but it still blows me away. Cannot think of a single celebrity I would pay to meet, unless the money was going to some cause I support, not to the celebrity.

Tullist either way you have some reason, it costs very little to be nice to your fans maybe some have waited for more than 30 years to know him personally... The backstage passes always come free for Tullianos, usually 6 per concert and some more customized for Tullianos president and some personal friends

Great visuals on this performance...Ian Anderson plays Thick as a Brick part 1 and 2 in the Oosterpoort in Groningen. But this was the encore. Part 2 was released in 2012 and so brand new. Very cool concert.
