I think that is Tom Petty Bernie though I should not know, like most latter day rockers of fame, I have a low opinion of him. I mean, I have heard that sneer before, and it belonged to someone else, tend to hate mf's who proceed without their own idea's. Now his more than evident influences at Dylan and the Byrds, there I can find a bit to chew on, though not all of it. But Ian making a comment like Rools, I am thinking he has a similar perception of that way too often repeated terminology, or whether someone rocks or not. Two terminologies that, blessedly, were nowhere near seeing the light of day in 1972, but with the impending force of cocaine, heavy metal, Star Wars, classic rock, bad drugs generally, such mind numbing travesties as who rules or rocks have been the order of the day for over 30 years. I even saw some overbearing 66666666 condemning someone elsewhere on the net for finding merit in the more recent, and to my mind more esoteric aspects of Tull, from a basic mindset that any fool can see if its Tull from outside the period of 69 thru 79, it is music of no or less merit, commentary spiced up with the usual ill informed observations on IA's character, as if he knows him, indeed as if he is someone IA would give the time of day. Just another of my loutish USA brethren loose in Tull land. This same individual seems to find deep meaning in the likes of the Moody Blues and the Lord of the Rings, and has deemed himself fit to pass judgement on the perceptions of others, as if he knows. His name distilled, taking the thor part out of it, is aptly displayed as Moron, possibly with Thor like aspects, or merely a name taken from a Metallica out take, oh the sheer horror of his immensity. His take on the immeasurable superioity of Barrie Barlow over Doane Perry is particularly telling, as in, any fool knows that. Including his musician friends who doubtless will regale me with the profound skills of the Rush drummer and his mighty arsenal of drums, but would not know Max Roach if he bit them in their pocky white ass.

You have got to read 'Hellraiser' Ginger Baker's autobiography. A jazzer long before he stumbled into Cream...what a book...what a guy. I hear there's a new documentary about him called 'Danger-Mr Baker'....I'll see that!

I certainly would read that, though unlikely to see the circulation into most local libraries that Keith Richards good read did. But a couple of them just might carry it, easily accessed, a wonderful development of relatively recent times to a 56 year old. Yeah somebody posted a bit from that film that I would have thought was long done about a year ago. Such bits as I saw seemed a nearly fascinating character study, with the added attraction of a subject that just might physically attack you, which I recall he did at one point, maybe more...one hopes, lol. Thought in some respects the Cream sounded better than ever 5 or so years ago, a similar perception of aspects of Tull I see. Part of it I believe is learning economy of statement as you age, maybe divining what was best about your skills. And Baker doing that reading of Pressed Rat and Warthog, topped even IA breaking out the Hare. And his drumming, not surprisingly to me, if anything has improved in the decades since Cream. And unlike other creatures of his time like the great Jefferson Airplane and "Jefferson Airplane Loves You", I am pretty sure Ginger Baker hates you, at least part of the time. Again, a real part of his appeal, a total wildcard.

Don't be too hard on Petty, ray...i thought he was a needledick like Steve Miller or John Cougar till I saw him a few times when he used to play at the Fillmore. He impressed me big time...mixed his Dylan, beatles, leon Russel, Stones, Byrds, southern boy, LA guy influences into something good...the mary jane song is like "Hurricane' (neil Young) live...and 'It's good to be king' is the best beatles song they didn't write ever. trust me...I still don't like his valley boy, latter day Fleetwood mac dreck...but he's good...and so is his helper Guaitar guy, Mike campbell.

Speaking of Cream the only other Forum I visit is a Glasgow one and just yesterday I found out that I once lived a few streets away from Jack Bruce's birthplace plus a few streets away from a street where Joe Strummer's auntie and uncle lived. ;D There should be a plaque on Jack Bruce's house. goo.gl/maps/0hp32

If they taught more rock and roll history in schools I'd be more willing to pester my friends and co-workers every time the PTA wants me to sell cookies or candles or vibrators or whatever to raise a few pennies for the bereft and underfunded classrooms.

I would like to know how the concert ticket sales have been up until now? Too, I wonder just what the demand is for all the 2013 shows that are booked; is it real???

I would like to know how the concert ticket sales have been up until now? Too, I wonder just what the demand is for all the 2013 shows that are booked; is it real??? Looking ahead to the rest of this year, how could demand be less than expected if the schedule is like this? February 7 -Zaragoza, Spain Palacio de Congresos de ZaragozaI would expect less expensive venues if ticket sales were not substantial, how could they play in so many countries? These venues are incredible places. February 8 - Malaga, Spain Palacio de Congresos February 9 - San Sabastian Auditorio Kursaal, Donostia I can't imagine this tour going to so many places if it was not profitable.

I don't know how Ian and James and the publicists do it...but the seem to get a steady 85-100% sales while booking a wide gradient....like 800 thru 10,000. They just seem to know the markets, venues and ticket buyers tolerance for Tull/Ian gigs...a combination of frequency of gigs, time since last gig, time of year, other acts on the road, and probably other factors that seem to get them such a high percentage of well planned gigs in terms of neither looking at TOO many empty seats nor disappointing too many would be attendees...I guess 40 plus year on the road teaches them all they need to now...and who bets Ian hasn't been paying attention and taking notes?....But I still wonder how the 7 gigs in 12 nights in Florida last Fall worked out....any answers?

I guess we'll see about the sales this year. But it just seems that it can't last - not trying to be a downer but.....one has to wonder.

Great videos from Malaga! I wish I had a poster like the one in the first video which gets posted everywhere. Some venues feel the need to use many while others have none to show. Any extras out there? These promo banners can be printed and framed for any Tull Cave. Rosario, Argentina

Would you accept a million for it Remy? Not that I've got it ....yet! ;D Well Nonrabbit, I think I'll wait till you get that million dollars... I think this has more sentimental value to the real value, so is not for sale Really in the nearly 40 years of being Tull fan, I've only had the opportunity to meet many members and former members of the band since I'm in the Association Tullianos, so my thanks to the founders and especially Albert Villanueva, I think I can say without fear of being wrong that our relationship with Anderson is true friendship, never takes more than 2 days to answer our e-mails, their backstage passes for all tours of Spain always arrive without asking. His dealings with us in backstage,as a friends always ask us about the conventions and I must say that in the past convention, was glad when we told him that Martin was a great success and everything went perfectly. Jokes and conversations between friends, is how I can define what goes on backstage when we meet Anderson and the band. So far have attended our conventions the following members of Tull
