No translation needed - Tull is over. Just toomany members for a reunion - Oh MY...! Ian Anderson: Uvědomil jsem si, za co flétně vděčím www.novinky.cz/kultura/319774-ian-anderson-uvedomil-jsem-si-za-co-fletne-vdecim.htmlIn 2017, Jethro Tull should celebrate fifty years of existence. But now, with the repertoire of the band under his own name. You will celebrate the anniversary as Jethro Tull? Jethro Tull simply can not put together. Remember that it is over the years about twenty-eight people. Part of it is long dead and the other is a lack of music. And in truth I would not particularly desire for cooperation with those who still play as well as they probably would not want to play with me. It's over. I'd rather play under his name. Now I'm in a band, while people from Jethro Tull, but we play different music. At each concert will also feature songs that I wrote it after the era of Jethro Tull. About the celebrations but we do not think. 5-6 sources: news.google.com/news/story?pz=1&cf=all&ned=cs_cz&hl=cs&q=jethro+tull&ncl=dhs3INx6bob7xXMyn2oLoRP6jkMpM&cf=all&scoring=d

What began on a Saturday in Perth, on the 14th of April 2012, ends in Prague November 21, 2013 "What-ifs, Maybes and Might-have-beens fly, soft petals on a breeze. What-ifs, Maybes and Might-have-beens. Why-nots, Perhaps and Wait-and-sees."

Perhaps the most beautiful and museum piece post ever...thank you Jim for generating images that match the most sublime thoughts and memories. Quite a run, the Double Bricks...equal to anything Tull/Ian have ever undertaken...and looking back, as I hope we all stay healthy to do, in twenty or thirty years...perhaps the best tour ever. Perth to Prague and plenty in between...my three, your two, the Royal Albert hall, Ray got one, TooTull went, saw and was conquered, the one that may have been Taped in Iceland...James Duncan's fill-ins...the sell outs, the rave reviews, the stunned audiences.....what a tour and what a thread.

Thank you so much Jim - Scenic Tour Manager, for a beautiful and informative thread. There should be prizes given out at the end of a (Tull) year and if so,your prize is to tour with the band next year as long as you keep the rest of us up to date with pics, details and gossip.

Can't argue with that. This tour has certainly strengthened the "Tull" brand even though it was an IA Band tour. I think it must be said that in hindsight the many years of the "greatest hits" tours were a backwater in the Tull story which made Martin Barre jump ship but brought forward a new group of people willing to take up the cause. It wouldn't be fair to single out one person - they all did their bit for king and country and for that we must thank them. Just goes to show that whatever anyone else may say, being a Tull fan is rather interesting - you can't tell what's around the next corner.

I am very humbled by all your kind words. This has been a journey which we all took together. And so it ends here... Lucerna Grand Hall Prague, Czech Republic lucpra.com/Image by Mikey Downs Setting up for the last TAAB2 show. www.expats.cz/prague/czech/concert-halls/lucernahall/Lucerna Palace was built as the first multipurpose building at the beginning of 20th. Century in Prague. Design was authored by Ing. Vacslav Havel, Prof. S. Bechyne and Ing. V. Prokop. The reinforced concrete construction is an early example of this type of construction and forms the subject of textbook by engineer Prof. Bechyne. Not only its unique and at its time extraordinarily progressive architecture and revolutionary building technologies, but many important social events which take place in during the century make the Lucerna Palace most important private cultural centre in the city.

I am very humbled by all your kind words. This has been a journey which we all took together. Lookin' left; Welcome to the "High" Sheriff (Tull Forum) club, Jim. When someone gets their ass kicked unfairly, we will make sure they are redeemed. Not that you ever needed redemption... Play any Journey and I'll kick...

I will however add it to anyone's lottery winnings in the future to allow us the pleasure of the "Jethro Tull Mystery Tour".

Seems like yesterday May 6, 2013 Leipzig Arena Rock and Roll in Deutschland - Ian Anderson TULL Images by Franziska Lange LINK
Leipzig - Jethro Tull's Ian Anderson in the Arena by Claudia Bernig
On 6 May, the Arena Leipzig was perfused with gentle but rugged sounds. A native of Scotland Ian Anderson played not only on the typical flute, which was also presented as a phallic symbol, but charmed his fans with vocals or acoustic guitar. His trademark, the angling of a leg while playing the flute, the viewers already able to experience live at the beginning.
Before the concert started, there were the musicians a small, performative play. Then the first notes of "thick as a brick" with Ian sounded on stage. Typical song sequences there was not at the concert, so that individual pieces stretched over more than five minutes and were then woven into atmospheric soundscapes, which rewarded the fans with cheers and loud clapping.
Two fans went so far as to go during the game at the edge of the stage to catch a photo or an autograph on a t-shirt. These little distractions were almost unnoticed stopped by a concert overseer, so that the two fans not arrived at their destination and the music could continue to be experienced.
