I wish you and all the members of Tullianos a truly excellent, memorable day. The Tull show I saw 40 years ago tomorrow was my best EVER...Muchas feliz . What a great venue...I'm sure the band will be inspired by the precense of Tullianos and the special event of the book launch. We are truly experiencing a golden era of Tull.

Thank you very much, I'm sure it will be a great experience! I have seen Tull many times since 1974, in Palace of Sports and other rooms but never in a setting like the Palau de la Música, I agree Tull is living a "New Golden Era"

Well, this and the Albert hall pix remind me that I saw TAAB I/II in a soul-less showroom of a pathetic casino in the middle of nowhere....but you know what? With the lights of and the band on the stage....it didn't really matter....Ian and the band are pros to a fault...and while i give any band the right to be inspired playing a fantastic or historical or beautiful stage...from Red Rocks to the Fillmore, from the Albert hall to the stunning castles they played in central Europe....I know that at the end of the day, Ian Anderson and Tull will play their best anywhere that ticket buyers have troubled themselves to gather. But I'm still jealous of the barcelona and London concert attendees...and I have a sinking feeling the venue quality of the places they return to play in the USA this summer will be a step down, not up, from last Fall's USA tour,

Before the concert (at 18:00 h), we gather all Tullianos partners and friends in the George Payne Irish Bar, close to Palau de la Musica, for the book launch of Vicente Alvarez "Jethro Tull y el faro Aqualung ",No musician could finally attend, because at the same time were doing the soundcheck. If assisted the Spanish press. Our president Albert Villanueva, told us at this time that Anderson had banned all foreign media photographers,?. Finally Tullianos photographer was the only authorized by the express order of Anderson. We delivered backstage passes and this time I resigned to mine, due I entered at Sant Feliu and the large attendance of members at the concert in Barcelona, we thought it was better, which we are at the Sant Feliu backstage, give opportunity for others, to know Anderson and the group. Also publish photographs of backstage and a photograph signed by the members happened to me the person that I gave my pass. In the George Payne Irish Bar had the chance to chat with Dave Rees and Martin Web, who were also with us to promote his book, really these meetings before the concerts are for me almost as important as the concert as we have the opportunity to Tull share with fans worldwide. This is a gift of Martin Webb for The JethroTull Forum Martin Driver, Dave Rees, Martin Webb and Gabriela Guardiola (Tundra keyboardist) Martin Driver, Dave Rees, Martin Webb, Gabriela, José Ignacio (Un Tal Jethro vocalist) with me ;D With two of my brothers and a friend, in the George Payne Irish Bar Book Presentation, Editor, Vicente Alvarez, Albert Villanueva (Tullianos president) I have a lot of pictures and videos, but I have not had time to prepare it, I ask a little patience to post everything. Thanks bunkerfan I have no recorded the encore

Great photos and video. I can't wait to see more. And what wonderful gesture to give your pass to someone else. I don't know if I could have done that. Well, it would have to be someone very special. I remember the photos of you and Ian and the band from last year. They were awesome! I'm very glad you got the chance to see another show. I hope we have one in store this year as well. Thanks for sharing Remy! We can always count on you. ;D

The acoustics in the Palau de la Música are fantastic. I bet Ian wishes he could produce that sound at every venue. Thanks for posting the video Remy.

Personal Opinion of the concert: Great concert on Wednesday at the Palau de la Música, with full house and a devoted audience this time as opposed to Sant Feliu, the band performed the 2 TAAB complete, and an encore Locomotive Breath, with some variations from the concert of Sant Feliu, a Scott Hammond drum solo and of course the full TAAB 2 the difference. The sound was initially a bit high for the dimensions of Palau, but was perfectly corrected in the second part of TAAB 1, after playing the TAAB 1 full, a break of 15 minutes (no prostate exam ...) and began the TAAB 2, perfectly played, I would give it a 9/10 to the interpretation and acoustic TAAB 2, definitely the sound problem was solved and the band gave the best of herself, in peak physical Ian (amazing for their 65 years!) showed he was very comfortable on stage and proved it with his constant gestures of satisfaction, ended the show the audience, stood cheered for several minutes. Finally Locomotive Breath closed overnight for history at the Palau de la Música. For me one of the best concerts Tull of the last 10-15 years, no doubt. JT's Ian Anderson Thick As A Brick 1, Palau de la Música Barcelona February 6, 2013 The video's audio was recorded separately and assembling it took me a while, apologies if not completely synchronized with the cuts and adjustments is something I will not repeat again, for sure!
