I hope this thread has no end, it's where I go to get all my new musical ideas! By the way, that "Merima" album cover looks like a photo of two bartenders watching the band, not the band. Slight photo error there, like the camera misfired and shot 180 degrees in the wrong direction when the photographer was over having a smoke in the lounge? And as for Gary McVay, he needs to get the new Billy May "Cha Cha" album, it's hot! link - Worst Canadian Album Coverslink - 15 Best Albums With The Worst Album Art, EverI hope this thread has no end, it's where I go to get all my new musical ideas! WE KNEW! This one is not only bad and ever so cheesy but should be banned forthwith

I'm guessing it's the right eye that's made of plastic but there again it could be the left. Some of these are just begging for a bit more investigation and on doing so I have... "I SAID I HAVE LORD" only now just discovered that the Rev performs miracles around the Christian belts of Mid West America - probably too scared to come to Glasgow or Liverpool. As far as I can see (sorry) he had one of his eyes removed when he was young however by the miracle of God he can still see out the removed eye or more precise the socket, the actual eye is probably long gone or maybe preserved in a jar on the mantelpiece in the trailer park where he lives. Anyway here he is performing some kind of miracle- sorry to be vague I didn't watch it all because his whiney, preachy voice put me off however I notice that he's put a bit of weight on since that first album. The Testimoney of Ronald Coyne And His Plastic Eye Miracle or Meeracle As Our Cousins Pronounce It see 5.50 to 5.52 ( I'm cherry picking - it looks very, very scary when he points his finger at the crowd and says that old catchphrase "God is using you as a vessel"

A couple of seasonal strange covers. On a side note: Buffalo Bob Smith retired to Henderson County, North Carolina, becoming a member of the Pinecrest Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church (ARP) in Flat Rock.
He made a live infomercial appearance to promote Howdy Doody Entertainment Memorabilia on July 3, 1998, on QVC. That was his last appearance. Smith died of cancer a few weeks later on July 30, 1998, in a hospital in Hendersonville, North Carolina. (aged 80) Wiki LINK
This area is right next door to where I live and after his passing in 1998, the car he drove was sold from his estate. This car became mine and is a 1994 Lexus GS 300. It is The TULL Mobile I occasionally sing this song while riding to the next TULL Gig ...
In 1970 and 1971, Smith embarked on a live tour of college campuses. The shows, organized by producer Burt DuBrow, mixed nostalgia with more contemporary humor, such as Buffalo Bob finding a package of Zig Zags (rolling paper) allegedly belonging to Clarabelle. One show, on April 4, 1971, was recorded and released as an LP, on the label "Project 3 Total Sound Stereo".
It was titled, "Buffalo Bob Smith Live at Bill Graham's Fillmore East".

That most recent post, nonrabbit, sequences so much psychological chaos into one screenshot that my neurons have gone on strike for more Wavy Gravy announcements to tell me how to interpret the upcoming acts. That balalaika is a good hook, it almost seems like a Cultural History appreciation class starting up, then The Dial-A-Poem Poets in their bow-tie Sunday Rat Pack best, hijack the agenda to "got married to a streetsign in Weirdsville Nevada", then Israeli Disco starts a vicious inescapable time travel hallucination with no logical place to land, but the Christopher Lee "Heavy Metal Christmas Too" has to be the all-time convulsive paradigm rupture that reduces all galactic ambitions to fibre-free sub-atomic dust. I can't reach a conclusion.

Do you know him? I don't know any Jacks. My social media contacts are totally without a Jack in them, except I occasionally monitor one character name Nicklaus but not so much since I sold my Scottish weapons of public offense. I've heard of a famous US patriot by the name of Jack Daniels who apparently fought for the Banjo Amendment in the War of 2/4 Time. Canada has the famous Yukon Jack, but that's another historical brew-ha-ha. I'm drawing a blank.

Richard Hell generated a hell of a song on drawing a blank...or was it blanking to a draw? Who remembers quick draw mcgraw and the original punk rocker, El Kabong ?

Hey I saw those waistcoats in the Victoria's Secret catalog. The woman in there wore them without the red plaid though.
