--Ron-- Join in Ron, there's a lot of strange album covers out there. Wow! I never saw a more hilarious album cover since Jim Bakker did "Wild Thing" with Jessica Hahn.

OK, that "Spotlight on Steve" cover is the weirdest ever. 1) "Whitey Gleason and the Jubilee Quartet", would be five people, but there are four on the cover. 2) Where/who is Whitey Gleason and where is the quartet? 3) Since all four are dressed identically, obviously that's the quartet and neither Steve or Whitey Gleason wanted to be on the cover? 4) If that's Steve under the light, and Steve is one of the quartet and is so special, then the quartet is not a quartet and Steve is an egomaniac stealing the show and Whitey Gleason and Steve are going to have a big fight when that record cover is released. 5) If the record should instead be called "Steve And The Jubilee Trio", then they need to start spreading a rumour that Whitey Gleason is dead and Steve is the walrus. 6) This situation is so bad legally, that you can almost sense the knives held in the hands of the Jubilee Trio, for they are cast in the shadows on their own record cover, they look more experienced than Steve and Steve probably has a short time left to live. 7) If you own this record, please take the cover to the local police station, as they may need it for a murder investigation. 8) "Steve" has been downgraded to be an "Urgent Sell" stock. 9) Watch for the new release by "Whitey Gleason and the Jubilee Trio, Live At San Quentin". 9) The band will not be touring this fall.

The bloke at the front with the glasses - that's not a genuine smile and you can't see his hands.

I have to add more... for many reasons, they're weird, puzzling, funny,in multiple supply and you can't help wondering what the 'ell they were thinking. That's Butch with the axe or is it Eugene? Dave at the front with Marie Antoinette ( ooo..get her!) at the back. This is my favourite one - the title the instrument and the setting

Hilarious thread.......love the Joey Schmidt.............. I know his brother Jack....... The trouble with this thread is your looking to top the last one however an album called All Alone featuring a lonesome accordion player on a railway line takes some beating

Good start Ron! - could only look at it in short snatches - didn't dwell on his shorts You can see what they were aiming at here - let's make Kjell look as though he's gliding on the Med as part of the cool set Brother and sister - man and wife - both? Martin to the left of me - jokers to the right

There seem to be a lot of "religious" albums out there. Creepy, weird, strange, bizarre, corny, bizarre, freaky...
