This weekend I'm going to invent a Time Machine and go back to the 40's, 50's and 60's to apply PhotoShop to these album covers before they're released, to, you know, fix them up a bit and make them presentable.
HOLY MACKEREL!

Accordions and pretty women just go together naturally. Any flute players out there aught to listen to Herbie Mann's London Underground album. His record covers were always trying something. Little David Wilkins, everyone's reason for shouting out "when does the music start?". And as for "Music For Dreaming", I can confirm from the western Canadian experience that blonde women skiing in the spring seem to like taking their tops off in the trees, laughing, applying suntan lotion and having soup.

I'm not sure why. But, I actually feel like listening to some of these ridiculous looking albums. When I was a teenager, on occasion I would purchase an album solely based on the cover. Zoogz Rift, the Island of Living Puke is a perfect example of that. Bob Marley's Rastaman Vibration is another example. Two albums I know by heart and love, to this day.
Albums I have purchased solely based on the cover art....
1. Damn The Torpedoes 2. Rastaman Vibration 3. The Island of Living Puke 4. ELO - Out of the Blue 5. Boston - first album 6. Frank Zappa - Joe's Garage 7. Big Lizard in My Backyard 8. The Lords of The New Church

Walter Ostanek is a music and party Emperor in Ontario, especially during Oktoberfest (in the Kitchener-Waterloo area and nationwide) where the October event is a huge week-long event and attendance at the improv community halls and arenas is huge, and the music, food and group dancing is a riot going into the wee hours. The man has an infinite level of energy and his band is/was always first-rate and rocking.
