PS Noticed some new members are starting off with 'Karmas'
1. Is that allowed? 2. Is a Karma for life? 3. Can one carry a Karma forward like say annual leave? 4.Can a friend give you a Karma (so to speak) b****** to Karmas !
Sorry for taking this thread a bit "off-topic" but everytime I see a photo of Martin wearing that red jumpsuit with the big "A" on it...
i29.images obliterated by tinypic/8wcwnl.jpg[/IMG]
...I am reminded of the little guy in the middle of this photo:
The "A" era must have been one of the worst transitional periods in the band's history...even for Martin. I wonder if he caught some teasing about his attire being similar to that of Alvin?

...everybody's on the stage and it seems like you're the only person sitting in the audience...
Far too low tech am I to send photographic proof of my seperated at birth nominees so you're all on your own to do the homework. The two that come to mind are Chuck D of Public Enemy and Ian and a non-Tull one that is really ironic....last year, at a certain distance, in a certain light, with the growing dome and chiseled jowls....sorry everyone; Neil Young and Richard Nixon...no really ( BTW- same gig: Graham Nash=Joan Baez).

Always thought this but just can't find a pic of John in manic pose Also there's a pic somewhere in cyberspace of a young John on keyboard bearing an uncanny resemblance to a young Jonathan Miller...

Irish actor Liam Cunningham, from the horror film "Let Us Prey", looks like he could be Ian Anderson's younger brother. Apparently, he is also in a little-known show called "Game of Thrones."
In 1982 and 1983, Wozniak produced two music concerts, called the US Festival, which combined the best music groups with the best computer stuff, a "hot tunes and high tech" event. Although he lost a lot of money on the festivals, he felt they were a success because both he and the concert goers had fun.
jackinthegreen: Cream without Eric??? Santana without Carlos?? and not even with a stand-in player.....you're easily pleased, I reckon most people would not be happy to say the least...

jackinthegreen: If it was Scott that got Covid would they have played the gigs without a drummer?

ash: It's Tull not Cream and my answer stands. Now it there was no flute player...No flute no Tull . I've seen Ian play with just an ipod backing track it was great

jackinthegreen: "No flute, no Tull".......hmmmm tell that to MB when he's doing all the Tull stuff..
May 3, 2022 20:18:27 GMT
jackinthegreen: and I've seen Ian doing his one man thing with just the backing track too, but that's not billed as a Jethro Tull concert.....
May 3, 2022 20:19:44 GMT
jackinthegreen: I do agree he's brilliant at playing to his own backing tracks though

ash: My first answer stands in stone

May 19, 2022 1:10:39 GMT
smint100: Good Lord, why did no one tell me about the radio.net! I've spent a joyful afternoon in the garden watching the strawberries ripen - I mean, editing a book - and listening to unadulterated Tull. Heaven!
