Maddog's been digging under his floorboards again and found this live instumental. The problem is we don't know when and where it was recorded so, get your thinking caps on and please give us your thoughts. The question is.......WHICH GIG WAS THIS JIG. A maddogfagin/bunkerfan Production

A maddogfagin/bunkerfan Production By way of explanation - I originally got this from Limewire 3 or 4 years ago and copied to my hard drive where I put it in a wrong folder and have only just found it again. On Limewire it was just titled "New Jig". Is it from an official release or a quality bootleg?? Either way it's a wonderful piece of Jethro Tull music.

Sounds like 'Passion Jig' from Living With The Past DVD to me.

After a tour or two of Passion Jig I think the melody changed a bit...some called it 'new jig' and some heard the riff from 'mayhen maybe' in it...dunno exactly the year but agree that it would be a tour or two after the tour that produced 'passion jig' on LWTP'.

Got to agree with you. A waste of such a great tune just to be left in the bottom drawer of IA's sideboard.
