Graham
Just on a rare visit to provide a point of clarification in case some of your members read any suggested inference in your last post as to the possible identity of the un-named fan in your tale.
Let's be clear, shall we, given that your reply seems to relate to an item I posted on The Jethro Tull Board about the Chateau out-takes and my acquisition of them. Not the first time the validity of my comments or my integrity have been questioned here by you or your mods.
For the sake of fact let us agree that your Walter Mitty friend isn't me. We have met once at the Barbican flutewise event. You have never seen my collection and have no idea what it does or doesn't contain other than what I share on the Jethro Tull Board and for awhile here.
I would appreciate it in future if you avoided any such inferences in the future which could all so easily be misconstrued

That is the sort of walter mitty character I posted about. As for your assertion that it was aimed at you then heaven forbid get a life as I don't really understand your thinking. You seem to be a wee bit touchy and have again tried to influence how this Forum is run. Well Pat it won't work. I don't happen to visit you board so don't know why you suddenly post here with wild accusations but then I suppose you have to do what you seemingly have to do.

Ah, Graham,
I have a life, and I'm very happy I am with it thank you. You see it doesn't revolve around being bitter. I'm certainly not trying to influence this board or how you run it. I don't even do that on the biard where I chose to be an active participant. God knows how you think I am attempting that when I haven't posted here for many months?
Some say I may be of many and varied talents but I have yet to discover my psychic ability to influence you in your running of your forum.
I posted simply wishing to clarify things for your members and guests.
No-one visits our biard you claim but coincidence seems to play a very big part in what comments are made here by your mods.
I was first alerted to a comment made here after I posted about the first UK convention. It was clearly aimed to jibe. I paid no notice to it, paranoia plays no part in my make up.
since then there have been other jibes and comments made, these have been passed onto me by other members who commented to me that they didn't like it, again I chose to make no comment.
This last jibe seemed a little too coincidental, so I made a decision to make a rare post asking you to clarify your comment.
I fail to see the problem in me doing that; why my post should then be deleted from general view or how you conclude I'm trying to influence your forum through my post I am perplexed.
I have no interets in influencing your board, or comenting on your style or your boards currency since I am happy at our board. Your memebers can see I haven't posted here for many months, and we haven't convered by e-mail for just as long, so influence your board....I think not.
Thank you for your clarification though, it's just a pity that you took my comments so defensively and felt the need to 'hide' them on your pet rabbit's shopping channel.

I took the bother to move the thread as you gave me a good idea for a Customer Services thread to deal with any queries or feedback. Thanks and I moved it into the Shopping thread as it makes sense to do so if our members should have any probs with anything to do with buying or selling Thank you - call again

If I had purchased anything from you I would be returning it under the misrepresentation of goods act. No need to reply I'll take any further complaint up with the management, but he'd only think i was interfering QK

Pat/quizz
By all means you can take any complaints further but as for the so-called jibes aimed at you or anyone else it does work both ways. I’ve been informed of various posts that have been made about Forum members which your present friends have made but have really made no difference to us here and have been ignored - quite rightly so.
It is a shame that we can’t get on but that seems to be the way some people you are now connected with want to work. In reality the different philosophies should mean a vibrant Tull community but alas that does not seem to be the happening and I can see now why the original chat area on the official site was discontinued.
We spoke at length some time ago on these subjects and I even sent you an email a month or so ago about the London concerts that you chose to ignore so I have to presume you have no wish to meet up and enjoy what should be some great concerts.
As for coincidences, well that’s going to happen as it does in the outside world. I’ve made no previous references to the fact that there have been instances where you and others have suddenly started to post on a subject that we’ve been talking about here for some time and I’ve no doubt it will happen again. That happens in life in general and should, in theory, benefit everybody with an interest in the band.
I’ve said in the past that you and TM are more than welcome to contribute here at any time but should you choose not to then that’s your joint decision. I gave you and others good reason why one of your members was banned from this site (and by the way got very many PMs and emails of support for the action that was taken from our members on the Forum and also from others not connected with us here) and even you must have noticed in your frequent visits here as a guest that since that happened there have been no “trolls” here to try and disrupt the running of the Forum - is that a coincidence?
I live in hope that one day your present “home” and the Forum will share information for the advantages of everybody but in the present climate I can’t see that happening which is a pity.
Should you wish to continue this conversation by all means PM me as I’m sure the general membership here are tired of such discussions between folks who should, in theory, be on the same side. Oh and by the way, should you care to PM me I’ll tell you the complete story about the so-called Tull fan with the dubious collection - I want to avoid any naming of names.

NR Thank you for demonstrating the aptness of my comment about you QK
Graham Never received any email from you about meeting up. Some comments in your email seem a bit rich and maybe a little too late and insincere. I will read when I have time. I may post a more considered reply here or maybe I'll add it to a closed thread on our site. As for my 'present' friends I'd say that I've never had any intention of having friends limited by time, not unless the piss me off. Which I think there is less chance of over at my 'current' board.
