Not sure if this is the right place, but tracks from the Stand Up album featured heavily as background music in the rather good Meet the Richardsons on the Dave channel recently. A 'fly on the wall' style comedy depicting comedians Jon Richardson and Lucy Beaumont's home life.
I was quite surprised to find myself humming along to Fat Man early on, then heard A New Day Yesterday, Bouree, We Used to Know, The Witch's Promise and Living In The Past, all acoustic versions. I wonder if they're celeb fans or if it was one of the crew.

Yes ever so often tv and radio production people use JT music - Bouree in a car ad many many years ago and Dharma for 1 in the cult BBC radio show The Burkiss Way which I heard on BBC Radio 4 Extra a month or so ago. Whether it's up to the back room people to decide or the show's producer is open to question but very welcome when a familiar piece of music is featured. Welcome to the JT Forum Guthers - good to have you here.

I googled 'The Richardsons and Jethro Tull' as well and most people were complimentary about the music however one view was that it may have been included as a joke in the style of Saxondale!

I’ll be. Never saw that one in US. I remember that from many years ago LINK 1 Related music Song: Thick As A Brick by Jethro Tull The version in the ad was recorded by Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull for the commercial. He talks about it in Metal Rules Magazine, Issue #15, excerpted at the official Jethro Tull site.
Description "Could a midsize sedan bring joy to your life?" the voice-over asks.
The villagers obviously think so, because as the Sonata drives through town, everyone stops what they're doing and runs after it. When the car leaves the village, everyone seems disappointed. "Life is better with one," the voice-over concludes. METAL RULES! Magazine Returns With Issue #15 ! December 22, 2002 LINK 2

Most on here probably know about this already but Wolfgangs Vault has hundreds of old live recordings of bands. There are a few good concerts from the 70's and 80's by Jethro Tull. You have to pay around $40 a year for membership but I think you can listen to clips prior to joining. The site has old t-shirts, posters, photos, etc. for sale too. You can also download some concert recordings (though no Tull ones) for around $5. I downloaded a Springsteen concert from the 70's for a friend and it all worked well. www.wolfgangs.com

Should have added that that the introduction to the Tower Theatre concert Nov 1987 is really interesting. An old jazzy style mixture of Tull songs - I have been trying to pick out which songs are there.

I’ll be. Never saw that one in US. I remember that from many years ago I always wondered if they contacted Ian because of the mention of a Korean compact in AWOL. 'Leave her new Korean compact, let some cabbie take the strain'. Kind of doubtful imho because it speaks of leaving the car but you never know.

Thanks for posting this youtube link. I had no idea this concert was on youtube as well as Wolfgangs Vault. Note though that the band was Anderson, Barre, Perry, Pegg and Airey for this concert and not the one shown in the sketch above.
