Wonderful. I've got this promo single in my collection but don't know how many there are in existance these days. By the way, I notice from your site you like Judie Tzuke. I've been a fan since "Stay with me....." and actually got to interview her for a radio programme back in 2000. Lovely person.

Have ''Shoot the Moon'' and 'Left Hand Talking'....she has just brought out a new album too. She deserves it to do well

Probably in the wrong thread but Judie's web site is www.tzuke.com/index.htmlAlways thought that a collaboration on record between her and IA would be interesting.

Wowie...how did the Nursie filmaker talk all those people into driving on the wrong side of the road? I bet the cops went crazy...and maybe the folks met nursies in the hospital when they crashed?

Wowie... I bet the cops went crazy... Crazy wasn't the word ..they almost got their truncheons out of their pockets and were heard to raise their voices ..slightly..... saying.."Now that's enough of that......please"

Just found this clip on youtube - unfortunately it isn't synced. Nevertheless, quite a find! I've never seen this clip before. Does anyone know where it came from?

I think part of this film stock was used by Channel 4's 10 best prog rock bands which was made 6(?) years ago and hosted by Bill Bailey. Tull came in at no.4. I can't remember where they got it from apart from the fact it was from France. Maybe that's the place to look for PP footage?

Just checked, it is not from the Classic Artists dvd set.
French tv ina.fr has (PopDeaux 1970) Nothing Is Easy and Bouree, both are out there among traders already.
We should actually ask CH 4 where they got it and have they more.

Yes, a snippet of this clip was used on Channel 4's top ten prog programme but it's nice to see it in it's entirety. I guess there are still lost gems out there in peoples vaults waiting to be discovered. Speaking of which, does anybody know of the existance of a longer version of this:

Yeah, I was quite sure it wasn't from the Classic Artists 40 years DVD. Thanks for pointing out the source PJ.
I wonder if anyone in the band (or girlfriends, wives or family) ever filmed anything on standard or super 8mm cine film. By this I don't mean concert footage (although that would be great!) - I'm thinking in terms of home cine films featuring members of the band together for a meal, a holiday or even better...wouldn't it be great if someone had brought a cine camera into the studio during the recording of, for example, Thick as a Brick or Warchild!

Rebecca, parades are the main event here. Dublin has almost one thousand marching bands from all over the world, a huge mardi gras. Shortest parade is between two pubs in Tipperary, a distance of two hundred yards... The drinking classes are inclined to imbibe a bit foolishly on the night. As for us we stayed at home nursing a 'flu, we were supposed to go to Navan to see Johnny Fean(Horslips) Pat McManus(Mama'sBoys) and Bernie Marsden(Whitesnake) all play together at the one venue.

Somebody once told me that St. Patrick's day isn't nearly as big deal there as it is here, but it sounds like it's observed pretty much the same ways!

Yeah Colin I rather liked this. A good looking woman dancing to Tull, can't be beaten.
Also makes you appreciate what a great mover Ian was in his heyday.
