Ok, to begin with, I can confirm that Mark & Kevin Collins are still keen Tull fans. They were stalwarts of the UK Conventions and they have the largest collection of Tull and Tull related vinyl singles I know of. Mark got married a couple of years ago and we still keep in contact.
A few more names:
Adrian Tyte Gerry Spiers Frank Smith Gary Hurley Steve Hood Ken Green Clarke Findley Steve Emery Michael Chavaz Andreas Becker Ian Burgess Martin Allen
Anyone know of their whereabouts these days?

Hi, Frank "The Snowman" Smith is still in London and sometimes he comes to gigs with the rest of the AND mob. Ian Burgess is still in Wales and you can meet him at Fairport gigs. He still runs the Fairport fanzine "The Ledge". homepage.ntlworld.com/unhalfbricking/

He too was a great stalwart of the UK Tull Conventions - I'll have to re-establish contact. Thanks for the info re. Michael. If you see him or are in contact with him via Laufi's board please give him my regards etc. Haven't seen Frank for many years now.

What has happened to AND, does anyone know? Has David Rees finally had enough? Last time I spoke to Martin Webb about this particular subject he told me that issue #100 was "ready to go". The short answer is nobody knows but we've been there before only to find 2 issues arrive through the letter box on subsequent days

I met ian Burgess at a Cropredy ( 30, I think)...very nice guy. I see Kurt Stenzel...Tull fan extrodinaire and major component of the Six and Violence about 2 or 3 times a year...he's married with 2 kids and pretty much a happy camper in all ways.....a bit lapsed on the Tull front but a good 50/50 chance at a bay Area gig...he and some of his friends were super-passionate about devo and one of the guys in 6 and violence ended up working for Devo so i think he gets more satisfaction in that area.....My closest Tull fan friend, Mark Dolar of LA hasn't said a word to me since thanksgiving 2005 when his doggie snuck out of my house and got squished on the nearby freeway...he never forgave me...we attended at least 50 Tull shows together from LA to Berlin and countless points in between...by land, sea, hitch-hiking, hook and crook...once we were locked in a hostel in belgium and had to break a window to get out in time for earliest ferry and gig that nite in London....i could do a whole mark and me thread....BTW....we met in line for Tull tickets....

Thats a sad way to end such a prolific tull friendship. Still you have the memories and a good few stories as well I'm sure

Our break after 25 years of friendship was oddly foreshadowed-----everytime i came crying to him about some romantic misadventure, broken heart or other abuse i took at the hands of mean girls he would simply state: 'well, at least your dog didn't die'....so when his did.... I guess that was a real problem!

Another Tull fan I used to correspond with and trade tapes in the pre-CD and internet era was Charlie Pritchard from Rugby, here in the UK. Anyone know of what became of him?

Good time to mention again long lost Tull friend from above, Mark Dolar as it approaches 5 years since we spoke ( i was partly responsible for demise of his doggie in 2006, not 2005 as described above). 5 years seems like it might be the right time to make the first step and try re-connect...i have till thanksgiving to mull it over and summon the courage and humility to make some sort of conciliatory first step. Might mention a few others over the years...my first Tull compadre was a Denver friend named Jon Nissanov...somewhat lapsed over the years but still able to rally for a close enough gig...we saw them together in Philly in about 2002. Also, the brother Seanez...Len and Frank...both orthodox deadheads above all but also still willing to attend a near enough gig...Len reported on Ian solo in Pittsburgh last year and Frank and I met to see Tull in Phoenix in about 98 or 99.

Clark Findlay is alive and well and living in .....central Scotland. Still a massive Tull fan but tour travels constrained a bit these days due to mortgages and kids and £90 special edition box sets, I can here it now, typical scots...:-) Started checking out the forum in an attempt to gain some more info on the unbelievable anouncement that the 2012 TAAB tour would not feature Martin. Scandalous....! Good to see such a lot of healthy discussion on Tull. I can remember a lot of the names on the list but have lost touch with many. Where is Graham Smith these days?

Graham Smith is a member here and goes by the name of Sealion. Remember Clark from quite a few concerts and I see Graham S. once or twice a year when I journey up to London and stay with him and his wife Sue. Means a few days of just talking Tull which is fine by me. Will hopefully be meeting up with him next year for a TAAB concert at Reading. MD aka Graham M.
