Slow to post this to the UK... you all really don't care about this, do you... At this point, I believe it's cool not to be included. Just my view. www.torontosun.com/entertainment/music/2010/09/28/15505121.html"A golfing glam-rocker. Some hairy guys from Jersey. A disco queen. A boho hobo troubadour. Some beastly rappers. Meet the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's class of 2011." Say no more. 2011 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nominees: Alice Cooper Beastie Boys Bon Jovi Chic Neil Diamond Donovan Dr. John J. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is nothing more than the Disneyland of corporate commercials. It's a privately owned tourist facility, it's the Ronald McDonald of Bozo The Clowns. It has no merit, it doesn't give any artist any credibility to be associated with that tourist trap, it's a dried cheese sandwich on the side of a highway, it's nothing more than a snack for gophers passing by with a few minutes to spare. I mean, really, why would anyone think Cleveland was a travel destination? Are you nuts?

yeah, I mean, why would they honor a band that has sold sixty some million albums, put single piece compositions on top of the charts twice and, in their prime, competed with the stones and who for best band going and most intense fan response since the grateful dead? Screw the hall of fame..rightly described by futureshock as a no-account tourist trap.....I'm gonna go home and rock out to my Neil Diamond albums after work...then maybe listen to some of Alice Cooper's timeless classics that paved the way for...uh....Kiss..

Are you nuts? pagesix.com/Sometimes even campaigning doesn’t work. “We made several overtures to the Hall of Fame,” recalled Len Fico, manager of Jethro Tull from 1990 to 2007. “In 2001, when [singer] Ian Anderson had his second solo record out, we set up a gig in Cleveland [at the Hall of Fame Museum]. Ian was interviewed by the curator and donated a flag, stage clothing and original master tapes of ‘Aqualung.’ But I was told [Wenner] didn’t like Jethro Tull and would never let them in … Now that he’s stepped down, maybe they have a chance.”link

Why Isn't Jethro Tull In The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame?
Clive Bunker: : All the good ones are there, so no problem [laughs]. No, I don’t understand it, actually. It’s a strange thing. I think it has something to do with some strange image somebody’s got. It doesn’t bother me, to be quite honest. I never thought I’d play in America, let alone be reasonably famous, whatever you want to call it. The Hall of Fame, I have never thought much about it.
