Have just rambled off a lengthy treaty to Ian over on the Tull page. Curious to know if anyone here has written him a letter there and received a response. I would mark the likelihood of receiving a response as increasing by 5 times if you are female, and 2 times if you keep it short, neither of which is true of mine. It was on the likely unappealing subjects of smoking cessation, marijuana and whether any of the cumulus clouds of it ever had any effect on him, and personal perceptions of the debt in terms of popularity owed by Tull, Pink Floyd, Grateful Dead and Monty Python to the use of psychedelics by the audiences of the time, with a few qualifying backroads.

Congratulations Patti on generating the world record 'post that needs vocal inflection' One of my favorite examples would be my oft uttered statement that there are two kinds of people who are bicycle messengers: people who can't do anything else and people who CAN'T do anything else. I having a feeling I can 'hear' the 'Good Luck' post !

HEY! EH! Okay...that's enough interest to pique my interest...I'll read his first book...and than maybe pique my nose... ;D and of course, we, Brand & I go with meaning #2. www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=goof-ball2. goof-ball anyone who is looking for trouble. People that usually roam the street at night waiting to pick a fight usually with other goof balls that share a common goal. (scraper goon harasser)

One of the first for locking up when the revolution comes. Allright...I'll do a little more homework ( you tube, sample of books) before i enrich the guy. I just like a little bit about i know about him...climbed the career ladder with only heroin and crack to help him along ( see: Will Self...a damn good writer)....landed a mainstream, preacher's daughter superstar despite being a known pussmeister..I mean...rates some curiosity or am I sadly underinformed ?

Yes! but is there not a hefty dose of the "exotic" or "novelty factor" about him - overseas I mean. It's not that long ago the women over here were going goo goo for an American accent and a pair of nylons

Modern Songs DO All Sound The Same.... Research shows that modern recordings are louder than those of those of the 1950s and 60s. They are also blander, with less variety in terms of chords and melodies.
"Nowadays, it is more about relaxing, you don’t want to think about what the music is telling you.
“In the 1950s and 60s, music was more artistic and for getting messages, things about politics, across....." www.iol.co.za/lifestyle/people/modern-songs-do-all-sound-the-same-1.1350664How sad
