Damn I'm getting old, I only got the idea it was your birthday because of all the greetings on this topic from other Tullers - forgetting your birthday NR is a heinous crime - hope all went well, love, light and peace from the garden of England. Be proud, Ms. Non-Rabbit....in the big story of the band, Jethro Tull, there is the smaller story of loyal fans, and the smaller story of the computer clubs that allow Tull fans to share moments, though far apart...and there, in that section of the tale of Tull, is your name in big, bold letters...known, respected and loved by the many, many people who have exchanged thoughts, information, opinions etc about this unique band.

We really should all be together somewhere celebrating Patti's birthday...if only, if only. Be proud, Ms. Non-Rabbit....in the big story of the band, Jethro Tull, there is the smaller story of loyal fans, and the smaller story of the computer clubs that allow Tull fans to share moments, though far apart...and there, in that section of the tale of Tull, is your name in big, bold letters...known, respected and loved by the many, many people who have exchanged thoughts, information, opinions etc about this unique band. Your day was fractionally more exciting than mine - we don't have large shops here - we do have pubs mind, well given that it's Ireland the economy and belief system would collapse without them! however as I don't drink so I pass them by

As is written, in Tullrune, the magic spell that struck me was meeting like-minded souls that understood my passion for the band and those very same people becoming lifelong good friends. I hope that we will all get a chance to meet, have flowing conversations that don't require tap, tap, tapping and for those who live far away from here- make sure you pencil in a Tull trip to Britland at some point in your life! This Forum is a portal for as well as being a great hobby for enthusiasts - educating all from the novices to the professors, it also enables fans to get together and bask in a glowing Tullness. I get a kick out of participating in a virtual world of Tull with people dotted around the planet, either standing on a beach wearing a Broadsword t- shirt, sitting in a beautiful bar in Barcelona or walking down a street in Chicago. It's not quite a game of Sims, not yet anyway but who knows though when Proboards Version 5 kicks in and us mods get to press the "dictate" button! ;D I'd also like to say from my heart, thank you so much for all the lovely comments for my birthday; they mean more to me than I could possibly explain. On behalf of myself and my fellow mods - thanks to everyone who contributes to this place. It's still a great thrill to find that we never run out of things to talk about - have to give a nod to Ian for continuing to assist in that matter as well.
