How will we schedule 24/7 honor guard to keep pigeon poop off Ian and his flute?

Jethro Tull fans have huge brains, irritated spouses and children and a deep confidence that they are lucky.

I am so all for that...how can we help you. I live in SF but have a friend that goes back and forth to Kauai a lot. And how about a memorial to Randy California who died saving his son's life at Red Sand Beach on Maui ? But Ian first !!!

I know..those 5 songs are orphans..I wish they and a couple more: Tea with Princess and Hare in Wine cup could be slapped together as some sort of release for Tull fans like ourselves who know they are out there but can't quite get our hands on them, done right.

Requiem, the way he sung it on the Opera tour, could not have been better at anytime in his career.

Ian exudes self-satisfaction, as he well should...and reveals a teeny bit of insanity, thank God.

Why am I so sure Christmas would be much better in Glasgow than California? Oh, I know, because it is better in Germany and Glasgow is probably even more better...well, minus the language barrier, I actually speak and understand German. Oh well, I wouldn't talk, I would just smile and follow the non rabbit around.

Let me echo 'Happy Holidays' to everyone who takes part in our virtual and ongoing Tullfest. Good news from my corner...the voodoo for 2018 is excellent from the Judaic point of view. In ancient Hebrew, letters doubled as numerals. The number '18' spells the word 'chai' which means life ( as in L'chaim = to life). So 2018 should be a very, very, very good year.

Tell what you are looking for...I am famous for giving stuff away ! Not that I love Tull any less...I'm just a chronic unclutterer and am happy if Tull stuff finds a loving home.

Remy and his crew will see Ian and Company a mere 11 days before me next year. I wonder if there is some way to get Tull crew to bring me his Mom's homemade pizza. My finicky kid kept asking for 'just one more slice'...

Wow. I 100% believe that Dee saw the souls of the workers sacrificed eternally to produce an eternal building. We are lucky Dee has the heart and soul herself to commemorate them and the courage to reveal what she saw.

On this day in 1983 I crashed on my motorcycle resulting in a shattered right arm, a series of six operations and variable length hospital stays to repair both the arm and the infected place on my hip bone where they borrowed bone to fix my arm and various life long memories including: sneaking out to a nearby bar...in hospital gown, rule not allowing door to be closed during female visitors, waking up from one surgery to the tune of roommate's boombox playing Iron Maiden version of Cross Eyed Mary, my cat being smuggled into hospital to see me, an earthquake that started while I was listening to 'Walk Into Light' on headphones, dramatically exacerbated by being in a bed on wheels and emerging pattern of male friends visiting at end of visiting hours and generously offering my female visitors company on the walk home or side trip to bar or dinner. It took till summer of 1985 to get all the way clear of infections, complications and operations...but my arm has worked fine since then. Oh yeah, I quit motorcycles. And yes, one friend ended up with an ex-girlfriend of mine, they lived together for many years and told of meeting cute at my hospital bed.
