How is it I don't own Lebanese 'Living in the Past' or Iranian 'Teacher'. What a great, one stop single list. Is it complete?

It's interesting that when "This Was" was first released here in the UK, Island Records felt confident enough to omit the group's name or album title from the front cover and only placed it on the spine and on the back. I seem to remember that the local record shop I bought it from had a display behind the counter which did have the group's name somewhere on it.

My last purchase, this Saturday at the jumble sale (street market) of my people. Jethro Tull - North Sea Oil 7" Spanish Edition, 1979 Chrysalis - green Seal Side 1 - North Sea Oil Side 2 - Elegy I will say the price (5€) because I think that is a bargain hard to find (only in such street markets) here in Spain Of course is NOT for sale!

Canadian Chrysalis reissue of Living In The Past following the 1972 launch of the label in Canada and the US. Previously Chrysalis had been released on the Reprise label in both countries.

I can see clearly now. A good wikipedia page about Reprise Records here en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reprise_RecordsGets even more confusing when you add into the equation Reprise vinyl pressed up in Australia and New Zealand, for example, not forgetting the label's existence in South America.

thevinylpress.com/Early Tull on VinylFEBRUARY 4, 2016 In connection with the IAN ANDERSON INTERVIEW, I spent a fair amount of time listening to the early Jethro Tull albums. My focus was that transitional period when the band morphed from the blues into something that straddled hard rock, folk and then emerging “progressive” sounds – a path traced from This Was, to Stand Up, Benefit and Aqualung. Since I had already done an extensive vinyl shoot-out of different Aqualung pressings over the summer of 2015, I thought I might add my thoughts on some of the other early Tull pressings to coincide with the Anderson interview. thevinylpress.com/early-tull-on-vinyl/

Some coloured vinyl American Chrysalis jukebox issue White UK pressing of Stitch in Time. Pressed as a 3'30" or 4'20" release with some discographies stating it also was pressed with usual black vinyl but no one seems to have ever seen one.

Hey guys, I'm new here but I stumbled across the forum and thought some of you might be interested in something I have. The record is a MONO This Was from Island. It has promotional posters and a letter from Jethro Tull's talent agency to Columbia records. As we all know, JT ended up signing with Chrysalis. Just thought that might be of interest to some of you. I really should have posted this earlier, but the auction ends tonight at 10 PM EST. Here is the eBay link.
