The Best Of Jethro Tull Masters Of Rock Are these actual sanctioned releases or just spanish bootlegs of studio albums? They look very cheaply made. Like the russian boots I've seen. Mark I have a feeling that the second album with PV holding a teddy is a legit Aussie release, don't hold me to that but when I get the decorating done and everything up and running properly I'll have a better look around the web.

Mark and Graham, I apologize for having forgotten most importantly, these LPs are South Africans and belong to the collection of Joan BG An image equal to the second LP appeared in a Spanish magazine ( Popster ) dropdown that becomes a poster, this is from my collection and was published in 1983 A bit run down as he was hung on the wall of my room for many years

From Joan BG collection "Jethro Toe" - Aeroplane promo signed One of the crown jewels Joan says: "Ian signed me some 15 years ago, but Ian rarely conveys warmth. When signed me, told me that never seen this before and nothing more. By the way accept my hand and I shook it a little coldly, but of course, this is better than giving the elbow."

Very interesting find of a 4 track white label 7" vinyl single of Thick As A Brick from 1972 over at 45cat. www.45cat.com/record/chre1003Just shows that even after all these years interesting "finds" still turn up.

I don't have here my vinyl, Graham, I'll check it out later and tell you, OKAY MCKAY? Just checked on the Tullianos site at the Spanish singles and the information there supports what I thought, that these two Spanish LITP singles were issued in 1971. Still of interest to know why there were two picture sleeves issued for the single.

Hi Graham, I do not have this vinyl, but I'll ask Joan, the best vinyl collector of Tullianos perhaps knows something about this. Upon receipt a reply, I will publish here. While writing this, Joan has answered me, not home now but has the two, I get the answer soon

One of my friends and an enthusiastic record collector of all genres has recently sent me scans of two Tull radio spots singles that were issued in the USA for This Was and Benefit. The full details of each are over on the 45cat site. www.45cat.com/record/pro312uswww.45cat.com/record/pro395

Tootull posted the Island Records documentary on the Forum yesterday and in response here are the UK Jethro Tull Island vinyl discs that I have. The LITP single came with three different label designs and a choice of large or small centres. The rarest version of the Island LITP disc, with the third " i " design can be seen here at www.45cat.com/record/wip6056
