Well with all those choices you're bound to be The association is with Martin...... Ockey dockey. MB playing guitar on their record is toooooo easy - I'll plump for playing the flute

So no answers to the Tommy D question so . . . a clue. Think Living In The Past and the 1993 club mixes 12" vinyl issue. And was I right about MB playing flute ms. Nonrabbit?

Presshouse Studio -beautiful! i34.images obliterated by tinypic/2czoxeb.jpg[/IMG] and the welcome and general ambience of the place is next to nothing as is said - not personally by me- unfortunately ;D

Matthew Pegg....living proof that fetal alcohol syndrome cannot be contracted paternally. Correct my friend. Had the pleasure of seeing them play at the Half Moon in Putney around '89 or so. Not a bad band in my view and had they stayed together would, I'm in no doubt, have become quite successful

Correct Steel. I've often wondered if he picked up any hints on guitar playing from Martin or even why he was there in the first place!

I think, in that era, anyone, in any recording studio, anywhere, night or day, had a good chance of running into Jimmy Page...his dicography, credited and uncredited (in the days of servitude to one label) is amazing.

What have the 2 rock gods pictured here got in common? Smacked botties if you Google. I think Ian Paice has been with Deep Purple since the beginning, so I'll go with that - both are the only original members still in their respective bands.

Very good try MD and they are the only 2 original members left of their respective bands - BUT - not what I meant, a clue, concentrate on their names.

That's a bit closer to the answer MD. Think about this - what would Ian Paices' birth certificate contain in the "Name" section?

Jethro Tull's music was used by at least one other UK TV programme other than Coronach/Blood of the British.
What was the programme's name?
What was the piece of music used as the programme's theme?
What year was it?

Jethro Tull's music was used by at least one other UK TV programme other than Coronach/Blood of the British. What was the programme's name? What was the piece of music used as the programme's theme? What year was it? Years ago - probably about 1993 - an old friend of mine told me that he had heard an edit from Rocks on the Road on a snooker programme...I never really believed it - at the time I thought he had imagined it or made it up....so I don't think that's it....crumbs on the snooker table and a million other little things to spoil my day, eh? Absolutely no idea! This is news to me. btw, I am in the process of moving house at the moment and at the weekend I stumbled upon my collection of old Radio Times. I found the Radio Times issue related to the Madison Square Gardens concert - there is a write-up and the tv listing. I'll post it on the forum in a few days - just have to re-install drivers for the scanner first.
