Never saw them live, but I had a few of their records, now all long since gone, only one I can remember is the single Midnight To Six Man Still got "Rosalyn" and one other stashed away in the vinyl collection. LPs gone years ago but I think there was a re-issue programme concerning their outout so I might investigate Play.com

Ok, u are probably near bed time non rabbit, and now I want to know who it is. I am hoping he at least looks a little like his Dad or its not a fair question. But I will bet he does. Non Rabbit is always fair. Very much stretching it, and I don't even know if he has any kids, but Cat Stevens/Yusuf, I don't remember his current last name. BTW never much of a Cat fan but what a humble and great man he seems to have turned into,(probably he always was) seeing him in an interview recently. Yes I remember the fatweh or whatever those death sentences are called against Rushdie, forget his first name, may have his last name wrong. But seeing a lengthy program on him recently, I feel confident that most/all present would have been similarly impressed.

Btw, I also had notions of Zak Starkey (I know he does not look like Ringo, but conceivably could be the son of Ringo's dear late first wife, Maureen I think), and Jason Bonham crossed my mind as well, he looks enough like John to be his son, but I googled both and nope. It was neat to see what Zak looks like these days, a little like Ringo in a couple of the shots.

You couldn't have given us a pic of him as a teenager even ok I take it the smile will be the clue and I can't make out the badge on his posh school hat ?? so I'll have a guess and say someone from Genesis? maybe even a roadie ;D

I was not going to bother replying to the Jimmy Page one, partly because I figured someone would know immediately and partly because I'm not that big a fan and still bitter that history has remembered Led Zeppelin, and even Black Sabbath, so much more fondly thru the years than Jethro Tull. At least Led Zeppelin have at least a dozen excellent songs. But the who can it be response to the most iconic picture, arguably of any rock star in their extreme youth, will bring me to announce the obvious. John Winston Lennon.

My immediate guess, maybe an even chance of it being right, because it does resemble what she looked like 10 or more years later right down to the hair and occasional gloominess, Sandy Denny?

Sort of off track and maybe its cuz I'm tokin but I would like to see someone photoshop a great bonny beard on Ian, the 72 version, on that picture of him at about 8 i think in school uniform and shorts with a little sand shovel, likely on some Scottish beach. And I despise those American commercials where they use the babies to discuss weighty issues like the market. I'm thinking of something yet more...awful. Now if someone could get that 8 year old Ian photoshopped into his 72 stage outfit, that too I would like to see. And Martin as a young lad with photoshopped monocle, nice. (probably my happiest moment in any Tull video, Martin's monocle (doubtlessly worn under advisement from IA) at the beginning of Heavy Horses, nothing screams Tull like a monocle. Especially set as it originally was in 78 (in that musical climate) on Don Kirshner, I think right after a Donna Summer video. Actually one of my highest Tull moments, and I still mark the first minute of that video as my favorite of any of theirs, live or otherwise. He and Evan? Priceless. That part is irreplacable.

Became a legend. Has that thing really been up there since July? I feel certain I am not the only one who knows who it is, (I think i saw it when it was posted and figured I would give others a crack at what I believe to be one of the few most obvious baby pics of celebrities, as he looks somewhat as he did as a young man) or maybe other folks here have a life, or could identify infant pics of Geddy Lee or Keith Emerson, but that is, of course James Marshall Hendrix.

Yes, Jimi it is. His influence is still there in todays music and he took guitar playing to a whole new level during his short life. It was a sad time in the days following his death and I would recommend reading Jimi's biography by a guy called Shapiro (can't remember his first name) to fully understand the demons in his life and to understand how these influenced his life.
