Jon Anderson and Yes? - no chemistry going there for me I'm afraid- didn't flutter my heart. On balance and again with no connection at all - Steven Stills played this album a lot. i41.images obliterated by tinypic/b6am1f.jpg[/IMG] Really liked his vocals and guitar sound here! It's all in the blend -coffee metaphor's now

Everyone I've ever really fallen in love with was completely unsuited for me. Later I always look back and say "what the hell was I thinking???" The answer, of course, is that I wasn't!
The only exception to this was the first man I fell in love with. The only thing wrong here was that I was 15 and he was 25 and married with two sons! Other than that, absolutely perfect!

yes, poor Jioffe (whatever happened to him?) tried his hardest to get me into Yes, but it never happened.
Do quite go for Steven Stills, though.

I suppose that post seemed completely random, but it was tied to what Nonrabbit said about figuring out love chemistry... But out of loyalty to my old loves I thought I should mention that the last few days I've been obsessed with my new facebook account and have caught up with nearly every old boyfriend I ever had (and some I would have liked to have been boyfriends), and I have to say, I'm remembering what was so special about them. I'm congratulating myself on my good taste in men.

If many years have passed and we have grown wiser will that reflect on our feelings towards someone we knew in the past OR does time conveniently 'forget' any problems we had with that person................. (s*** I should write horoscopes;)) " .....will the years treat us well...."

Yep, good and bad. I do remember the bad too - after all these years it's easy to blame that on just being young and stupid!
But, living in the present, I've been nibbling on walnut and zucchini muffins one of my current loves brought me yesterday, being reminded of the whole lovely afternoon we had. So you know...not really wishing for the past!

www.songfacts.com/int/2009/09/ian-anderson-jethro-tull.htmlIn this interview on the official site Ian mentions the influence that Roy Harper has had on him. Try as I might I just can't get into Harper at all I know he has a distinctive style of guitar playing however I find his voice and songs pretty mediocre - any Harper fans fill me in on this?
