[/IMG]
Bringing this riveting game to a close now Clue for No 8 - UK band big in the early 70's singer is dead. Clue No10 - US band the title of the album could suggest sweetness and a remedy for a cold.

#8 is Tanx - T. Rex (though I will admit my first thought after the clue was Humble Pie) #10 is Beach Boys - Wild Honey (that last one was TOUGH!! Finally I free-associated 'sweetness' to sugar, saccharine, *honey*. Then tossed album cover honey in Google Images, HIT it on 4th page! *blows the smoke off the search gun*)
Wow, that was awesome, *huge applause for a fun game*
(And I'd love to know if there's anything that makes a combo image like that automagically, or does it have to be done by hand. I wouldn't mind trying this myself!)

Zephyr - YOU win the prize ;D - don't know what the prize is but you've won it I think that you can make the puzzle up on some 'workshop like website' - I just copied it from somewhere else. I have another slightly trickier one coming up but I'll let the excitement die down a bit

Aha, that clinches it! #11 is Bonzo (I'd had a sneaking suspicion for a while now, but wasn't sure as it's not the most obvious pic I've ever seen of him.)
What makes this puzzle MUCH tougher than the first one is that while album covers are a finite thing (for the most part), there might be a bajillion pics of any given musician!

No 5 looks like McCartney but will go for John Lennon [which I know is probably wrong]

[/IMG]
Both correct - partially It is Kossoff/ Bonham however not McCartney That just leaves No's 5/10 and then we're there

#5 - Phil Lynott
10 is just kickin my butt!
Now if you look at the rows you see... Guitarists Bass players Keysmen Drummers So we need a dead American drummer who has some sort of Fleetwood Mac connection... Oh hell I'm lost here... plus the "family band" clue totally throws me for a loop!

10 - Dennis Wilson, Beach Boys drummer
Don't get the connection with Fleetwood Mac
