That is sad. I'm sorry to hear it. Nice video you chose.

This sucks mightily, another great talent gone, this year following Eartha Kitt and Freddie Hubbard, I am starting to hate the calendar, as these passings are getting to be a regular participant in the life of people who have been around awhile. Glad John saw fit to spend some of his life in the musical wonderland that always has been Chicago, remembering to pay homage to the people who gave him alot of his ideas.

Sad news indeed and following on from the passing of Davy Graham in December. At least their music will live on for future generations to enjoy.

Thosae really were the days, weren't they....my first concert, when i was 14 years old and had to really stress over the $3.50 versus $4.00 seats was: Traffic, Ten years After, Free and John Martyn.....each band played a decent set. John Martyn was amazing...4th on the bill but everyone listend and demanded an encore. Those odd shaped Traffic albums were worthless for sifting seeds out of pot, weren't they? Thank god for double albums!
