A big hello to everyone, I joined the forum today. I have been a Jethro Tull fan since I was a 12 year old schoolgirl... many years ago having seen them on TV and have been addicted ever since. I went to see Ian in Feb of this year where he did An Audience with Ian Anderson, he is awesome. I have my ticket for Shepherds Bush Empire on 24 May and counting down the days. Welcome Kelpie! This is a great place to be a Jethro Tull fan! I'll just post Kelpie along with this welcome. I've always loved the song and can't listen to it enough... So here it is... Kelpie!

Thanks for the warm welcome! Looking forward to digging through the forums!
I'll post thoughts on the Oct 4 concert. I'm sitting in nearly the same spot as I was for the TaaB2 concert. Does anyone know of concert footage from that concert? The Locomotive Breath encore got a standing ovation ... after thinking about it last night I watched about a dozen performances of LB, including a cover what was surprisingly good.

I don't know if I'm putting this where I'm supposed to as I'm the new guy. I've been a Tull fan since 1968 when I heard their first album. (The wife says I'm obsessed!). I've seen them live over 30 times, the latest being two nights ago. I've been looking for a place like this for years. Thanks! Ed

Have a good look around the place as there's bound to be much to see and do. Don't worry about being "obsessive" about Tull - there are lots of us in a similar vein in cyber space It would be interesting to read about your thoughts on the two recent concerts you saw.

Greetings from Finland! I was born in '77, so I wasn't a Tull fan in their early days! I've been a fan since the early 90's or something. I'm not a "diehard" fan, but I do have all their albums and all of Ian's solo albums with the exception of Divinities (will buy it at some point). I'm listening to CD 2 from the new Warchild deluxe package at the moment and thought I'd register here. My name is Toni and I'm a big Tony Banks fan, so "tonibanks" will do here. PS. I love Homo Erraticus.

When we were going to see that "three man reunion" and mentioned this Genesis gig to people, two people in different situations said, "Ah, it's the bald guy's band". But Tony still has all his hair!

Hello, I'm FutureShock, I joined years ago. I'm located in western Canada, so if you have questions about Banff or hot air balloons, I might know something, but if you're questions are all about glaciation, better ask someone from eastern Canada, even though we have a giant, giant rock near Okotoks (called an "erratic"), which was deposited here from way up north, by a big glacier (named Rita) which left the area weeks ago now. They named a very successful brewery after it, "Big Rock". I enjoy reading the comments, news, reviews, historical Tull facts and tracks and VERY freaky album covers posted on this websiticus and invite the usual high % of viewers who are not members, to join, discover more information and join in the discussions! It's good for your creativity!

So can I take it that questions about oolitic limestone and granite should be directed to TT/John ?
