Y'all are too funny! Welcome Jim. You can call me Ron, just don't call me late for... well any meal, or for a pint! Thank you Ron. I try hard to be serious all the time but it never works. Every Tull gig makes me grin from ear to ear. With one exception. This was before the '91 Catfish show in Richmond, Virginia. I was trying to look serious but ended up looking perlexed because it was 1 year after cutting my very long hair. I may have felt awkward until I finally got used to seeing Tull without my earlier hair style. Here is my 1976 Rock and Roll hair which I kept until the summer of 1990. Those were the days my friend, I thought they'd never end... Wait a minute. I'm still here.

'Carry on with our Tull mission.'.....That literally makes my day...I mean it. Good. Please keep to the Tull road. Peace Interesting to learn about the history behind the naming of this road. "OFFUTT AIR FORCE BASE, Neb. -- The Tull Road sign, pictured here, stands in honor of retired Lt. Col. Harrison "Harry" Tull, a Tuskegee Airman during World War II and a former 55th Wing officer who recently passed away. The road was dedicated in memory of Colonel Tull during a ceremony here April 6. The colonel served more than 27 years in the Air Force including combat tours in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. That's a great picture Jim - we're both the same age that is if your 1957 - the vintage year ;D Thank you very much. ;D I feel very fortunate to have been born early enough to witness so many amazing events in history. It was when Rock and Roll, the Counter Culture, and Civil Rights changed the world forever. In some ways I still feel the way I did back in the 70's while listening to vintage Tull albums. But my excitement and desire for new things has only increased with being part of the 21st Century. Life is a long song after all.

Welcome to The Jethro Tull Forum teacher and alexiselvin. I look forward to your future posts. Teacher is a very cool friend of mine that saw the show in Asheville on September 28th last year. She is a big fan of John O'Hara and all the music from TAAB 2. I am so happy she followed me here. Welcome to Alexiselvin too. The party is just getting started. Big show in Barcelona tonight. Let's Rock!

Hi. Quick hello I'm 53 and been listening to Tull/Ian since I was 18. I enjoy his music on runs and bike rides. Use to jump rope to Aqualung. Anytime that pops up on a run or ride its fun. Nice sprint work. Had a great brick workout to TAAB11 a 60 mile bike ride and 6 mile run to the album. Really love the album think its so well written and played. Saw the show here in Miami. Love the shirt. I play flute and started lessons. I like the advice Ian has posted. I don't Merritt of can afford a Powell or Sankyo but have a Yamaha and Sonare. I get some songs close. Trying to play his stuff I can appreciate how nice he makes the notes sound. Would love an old flute from him but a sticker for my case or Autograph on it would be fun.

A big hello to everyone, I joined the forum today. I have been a Jethro Tull fan since I was a 12 year old schoolgirl... many years ago having seen them on TV and have been addicted ever since. I went to see Ian in Feb of this year where he did An Audience with Ian Anderson, he is awesome. I have my ticket for Shepherds Bush Empire on 24 May and counting down the days.
