I have found a wonderful photo of Ian's son James Duncan on a German JT-board, really love the pic - he looks a lot like his father.
But how can I show you the photo? Does not work with this "Insert Image"-Button.... can anybody help me?

Welcome, Yvonne!
This is the only way I know how to do it, but you probably have already tried this...
Click on the picture so that it is the only thing on the web page. Highlight the url address. Then when you copy it here, put img in brackets on the front of the url, and /img in brackets at the end of it.

That's a great picture and is wonderful to compare with earlier ian pix....i saw some resembalance in some really old pix of ian, from the pre-john evans band article in new day but this foto is much better...thanks. I think I would trade my enviable hairline for their talent and good looks.

Speaking of 'looking like his dad', don't you think Ian bears an uncanny resemblance to HIS father these days (Mr A senior appears in one of the documentaries playing LITP on his stereogram!

Yes I can see a bit of a resemblance although the vid doesn't show the whole of his dad's face. Anyone know anything about Ian's brothers? apart from one is a retired director (?) from Scottish Ballet and the other is an engineer ( ?)

This DVD isn't an amazing DVD, but I definitely like it. The 1982 performances lack a little something from the rhythm section. Perhaps a new lineup getting used to playing eachother? Nonetheless still great performances of a lot of great songs.
Another thing is that it all seems a bit compact because it was for a television program.
the 1986 stuff I actually liked a lot. He seemed rather sick and tired, but the music was actually very calm and relaxing. I especially liked the rendition of thick as a brick. The 1987 performance was shortened, but it was lively. The 1993 performance was good instrumentally, but god damn, Ian had to lose that jacket.
The 1973 performance was good, but it seemed like Ian had some stomache pains, which sort of made the whole thing uninspired.
I think the more recent montreux DVD, and the isle of wight DVD are much better, but I definitely like the Jack in the Green DVD, especially to see the 1982 lineup and tour. "Pusy Willow" and "Fallen on Hard Times" are both favorites of mine.
