So that's what really happened to Gerald then. They're all playing a different song...I was going to add together but that's even pushing it.

Dear BBC, Can you cut me some slack and allow this very funny TV programme into my American computer? Problem is they've got it on youtube but it's very moody lighting (which is probably in it's favour) and you don't get the full effect of the struggling cat however you do get the effect of WTF is going on? here's another one from the show with screeching while also miming the words for the hard of understanding vocalist, rubbish song and gratuitous use of a woman holding a phone. Ahh the 70's Jim the funny thing is too that while the acts might have looked glamorous in a 70's fashion the audience - the girls looked like young Miss Marples

Thanks for the amusing and strange videos from the good ole 70's. Cats are very difficult to train for any thing especially music videos. You have to hope for the best. Now for gratuitist females in videos, this was a tough sell. She needs more action on the phone. Some girls were only doing bit parts for years. Hoping they could get a big break on t.v. Video Vixens got more respect after Def Leppard AND Whitesnake got things rollin'. Good ole 80's Rock!

It was a bit strange that the Harvest label which released artists of the stature of Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, Shirley & Dolly Collins and Roy Harper amongst others, should release such plastic disco cr@p. But then times change and EMI needed the money.

... I never heard of "Slough" till now.. For bringing to your attention - I apologise No No one puts Slough on their list of places to see!! I know I got stuck there for nineteen years Here's an intro of the "highlights" of the place - all of 27 seconds.

Try this folks. Sir John Betjeman is a hero of mine, a poet and a lover of railways. This is his take on Slough, but with wider meanings. Nonrabbit, I knew you lived/endured Slough, but had no idea it was for nineteen years, strewth m'dear, murderers get less than that. Anyway folks, have a listen. The first few seconds shows the sculpture of the great man at St. Pancras station in London, looking up in wonder and amazement at the £800 million pounds worth of improvement to the 1868 original - cheers all.

Wow! I guess Slough is just one big industrial place. No special hotspots for fun? There must be something there worth seeing. Or is there?
