I remember when A New Day magazine first interviewed John Evan, must have been late 80s, and their first question was: "What's your real name?" If only they'd read Jackie magazine, who had the scoop in 1970 ... www.tullpress.com/jac29aug70.htmOne of my favourite finds, this -- always nice to find proper interviews with band members who very rarely get to talk about themselves in print, and Jackie managed to ask some decent questions and tease out some interesting responses. Cheers -- the satisfaction from the work is being able to make things available to folks who appreciate it.
In this instance I found a scan of the article on eBay, clear enough to transcribe the whole thing, but bought the magazine anyway so I could get a decent scan of the photos (despite them being bad quality), which had the added bonus of being able to correct a couple of punctuation details that weren't clear online.
