THICK AS A BRICK performed by MonnaLizard - February 21, 2019 WHO ARE MONNALIZARDS? LINK The "Jethro Tull Tribute" project by MonnaLizard was born in 2007 with a debut at the Agricantus in Palermo. Despite over the years the Monnalizard has ventured into other thematic repertoires, the Rino Gaetano project, the band has always held the "Jethro Tull Tribute Project" with a couple of concerts a year aimed at keeping alive the live atmosphere of the masterpieces of the British band captained by the creative inspiration of the legendary Ian Anderson, goblin of the unique and inimitable flute. Masterpieces like A song for Jeffrey, Locomotive Breath, Aqualung, Hunting Girl are an example of how the band of Ian Anderson & Co. has been and still is a formidable group in its style, a unique style that does not seem to be combined with anything else musical genre, and which is therefore preferred to call "Stile Tull".
For the occasion, the band will present itself with a training extended to seven elements: Andrea Bellante - voice Benedetto Basile - transverse flute Stefano Siragusa - acoustic guitar Francesco Ribaudo - electric guitar Alessio Romeo - piano and hammond Luca Giuffrida - low Ferdinando Piccoli - drums and percussion
