I've been a Jethro Tull fan from as far back as the Benefit album and have followed the band and the changing musicians all through my life. I saw Tull 5 times in the 70's...Shea Stadium NYC, Radio City Music Hall NYC, and 3 times at MSG in NYC. I have also seen Tull over the years outside of the 70's, but my period of music I'm partial too is really from This Was through Stormwatch. I am loving all the Deluxe Box Steven Wilson remixes. And I'm hoping Steven Wilson can do Stormwatch later this year. He's on tour through April, though I believe maybe in the fall he can fit in Stormwatch. If not Jakko Jaczyk from Crimson association does very fine work and would be a great candidate. I am also in the midst of reading Jethro Tull The Glory Years and I'm finding this book a very enjoyable read. Dee Palmer and Martin Barre's memory of situations is fascinating and although not yet completed in my reading, I recommend it. Those of you catching the 2019 Tour... ENJOY! If you have not seen any shows try and make one. The settings are intimate and it is pleasing to sit and listen to Ian and Company play so much great music.

Hi Deafmoon and welcome to the JT Forum.Stormwatch should be with us by the end of this year, if reports on the internet are to be believed, and the up-and-coming Martin Barre concerts should be fascinating along with the Ian Anderson/Jethro Tull concerts that have just begun. Keep reading the posts by JTull 007 for the most excellent and updated information.
