One word review of the new Dee Palmer album: BEAUTIFUL
As expected, it is perfectly written, played and sung. Not a single mis-step nor wasted moment. The title cut is a masterpiece, in a class of its own, but each and every song is an adventure and pleasure. Highlights. beyond the expected lyric and music composition, include Dee's voice, her expert touch on the piano, Martin's guitar and the smooth synthesis of classic music influence and Tull rock strength. I love this CD.

Tull released a single called Coronach which is essentially the same song. It was the theme tune to a 1980's UK Channel 4 TV show called the "Blood of the British". I like both versions of the song and think it is one of the better Tull singles released. I don't think the single was released on any album though it may be on one of the box sets. I always thought the the chorus line on the Tull version was "Your any road". but it is difficult to understand what IA sings. On the Dee Palmer album she sings "Forever Albion". I think Dee's album gives a glimpse into the big part that Dee play on the Tull sound of that era. PS.. There is a thread on here about Coronach but back in 2009....
